be mine, for now and forever. heath watched the clock. all the heard was the muffled ticking it produced. he watched the small hand slowly tick around the circle. his eyes were dry, he hadn't blinked in what seemed like forever. he closed his eyes only for a moment, then opened them to see nothing had changed. he wasn't usually like this. he wasn't usually alone, or bored. but tonight was different. he was longing for something. something he couldn't describe. his eyes moved slowly around the almost empty living room. heath sighed as he fell back in his couch. he looked at the tv. he contimplated the idea of turning it on. he shook the idea out of his mind, and continued to think of possible solutions to his boredom. he hated being alone.
heath hadn't gone to the movies in quite a while, and he missed it. when he was younger he was an avid movie goer, but he lost interest when he started with his player life style. he didn't even know what was playing now. he decided he would give it a shot, go to the movies and hope there was something good. he grabbed his jacked from its post by the door. he left his appartment, and soon the building. he hailed a cab, and climed inside. the gemini, he said, no emotion in his tone. just then, he realized thoes where the first words he had spoken all night. he hated being alone.
the cab pulled up outside of the cinema. heath tossed the money to the cabbie through the hole in the glass that seaperated the front seat, from the back. he got out of the cab, and just stood there infront of the theater. he slid his hands into his pockets, and began to slowly walk towards the enterence. he walked up to the person behind the glass. can i help you? she asked in a bored tone. heath leaned against the glass with one shoulder and spoke in his honey toned voice. one for batman please. he responded as he slid the money uner the glass. she responded by sliding the ticket to him. he gave her a quick wink, and went inside. he looked around for a moment, seeing if he recognized anyone. he hated being alone.
heath spotted a fermilar brunette sitting at the bench across from the refreshment table. she looked alone, almost like she was looking for someone. he strolled up to her with a devious grin crossing his lips. he sat down next to her with no words. he leaned his back against the wall and slowly rested his arm over her shoulder. he still said nothing. she would have to be the first to speak. he really did hate being alone.

brett paige kite ,caviar and cigarettes well versed in etiquette
it was a saturday. saturdays were the days everyone instantly forgot about their worries and partied their asses off until five in the morning. or perhaps a normal new yorker would just hang out with friends.. and then hit the club scene. unfortunately, though, brett paige kite herself was stuck on a saturday without anyone or anything at the gemini. the movie theather. it was kind of pathetic, really, how she had nothing to do. she was the city's busiest person; always planning events, or organizing them, attending events herself, or at the very least hanging out with a couple friends. but nope, today's agenda was surprisingly empty. brett had too much time on her hands, and the day soon flew by, until the moment she told herself she wasn't going to sit around like a loser in her bedroom. so what's better then watching the dark knight even though she pretty much hated action movies? brett had bounced through the revolving doors (well, as fast as she could in four inch heels) and up to the teenager selling the tickets who didn't look particularly thrilled. "one for the dark knight," brett spoke, not even bothering to glance up at the billboard above her head that listed the prices. she was handed the ticket and brett slid a ten dollar bill beneath the glass. brett started to walk away, wondering what the heck she was going to do in the next thirty minutes she had to wait. and just like that the refreshment table caught her eye.
usually, brett had no appetite and she chose to avoid junk food at all costs, but it was a saturday. a pretty lonely saturday. today had sucked and one of brett's indulgences were junk food; they always made her feel better pretty much, even though after she felt like she shouldn't have ate anything at all. the twentyone year old pushed her thoughts side, tucking a strand of dark brown hair behind her ear as she made her way over to the counter. well, she certainly got the attention of the cashier who had his nose in 'dr. atkin's age-defying diet'. brett glanced away. hmm. maybe a pack of twizzlers and fiji water were okay for now. brett glanced up again, her eyes bright despite how bad the day had turned out to be that she was now stuck at the gemini (her only company a bottle of water and candy). "uh, fiji water and a pack of twizzlers," she spoke up. the boy's eyes which had been giving her a once-over went back to her face, and his expression was confused. as if he had no idea what fiji water was. brett rolled her eyes and spoke in a tone much more harsher then she intended. "just water, then." ugh, fucking movie theater employees. brett finally got what she wanted, but one glance at the cellphone she held in her hands told her she still had time. time, time, time. what people found so precious and rare, she found annoying and anything but endearing. she was stuck with nothing else to do again, so the girl sat down at one of the empty tables, bright hazel orbs scanning the room.
there was no one here she even knew, which was a first but not unexpected.. until her eyes strayed to the door and gazes locked with the playboy himself. brett looked away, a strange feeling passing through her; annoyance but yet relief that he was here. wait, what was heath farron doing at the gemini? she thought he'd be off sucking another girl's face off. but she should've stopped with all her negative thoughts, it really wasn't getting her anywhere. but i guess doing nothing all day left you a bit cranky. sooner then she expected, heath plopped down beside her as brett sipped away on the straw of her cup, expecting him to immediately say something. or some snarky comment saying how he thought she was probably off getting trashed, at the very least. but nope. nothing. just silence. brett raised an eyebrow at him, spotting the devious grin on his face. "you never were much of a talker.." she said, more to herself as her eyes went back to gazing around the room. but brett kite never held anything back, and started speaking what was on her mind. "so what's heath farron doing at a place like this on a saturday night?" brett asked, a bit of sarcasm drowning out her voice. when wasn't it ever.

be mine, for now and forever. heath's eyes shifted around the virtually empty room. the only ones there were heath, brett, and the pimply faced kid behind the counter. heath glared at him for a moment. the kid was looking at the two of them like he was watching a movie. the boy quickly turned his head away, then slowly slinked into the back room. heath smiled to himself, satisfied with his work. he nodded once, before looking around the now empty room. he still didn't speak. heath just waited paitnetly for brett to say the first words of the evening.
heath and brett had a confusing at the moment, as it had always been really. he never really knew where they stood. but he didn't mind. as long as he got her into bed, he didn't care what she classified them as. as long as she knew she wasn't the only one visiting his bed every now and then, it was okay with him. heath had never been one to have a 'girlfriend'. it was too much of a hassel. he just wanted to have fun. girls were his favourite passtime. but, there was something different about brett. she had a certian spak that heath just kept on being drawn back to. it was like she had some sorf of cosmic hold on him. that thought made him wince. no girl had ever had that effect on him before, and he didn't like it.
you never were much of a talker.. heath chuckled once before turning his head ever so slightly so he could see brett out of the corner of his eye. i've always believed talking is significantly overrated. there are so many more, fun things that i can do with my mouth. the courners of his lips curled up into his signature grin. it was almost, rude. he finally turned his head so he was looking at brett. his eyes caught hers for a moment. the smile was whiped off his face as he looked into perfect eyes. he quickly snapped out of it and looked away for a second. he looked back at brett as she spoke once more. so what's heath farron doing at a place like this on a saturday night? heath tought for a moment. all my girls happend to be busy. he said with a shrug of his shoulders. except for my favourite girl, he continued as his lips returned to their grin, i never thought i'd see you here. not in a million years. and espically not eating twizzlers. heath cringed. he hates sweets.
