I WANT YOU TO KNOW
WITH EVERYTHING I WON'T LET THIS GO

Evan rested his head on his desk. That english book was just mocking him. He needed to read the rest before school started, but he was too stressed out about it all. He basically saved all the over summer work for last minute and now he only had two weeks to finish all of it. He sighed and burried his head in his arm again. If only teachers didn't pick the most boring books for them to read over summer. Then even more boring books during the semester, of course. It was like the only thing they wanted to do was torture them. He lifted his head, he needed to get out of this place, and just go somewhere that didn't require you to ready a 900 page book and do a 2000 word report on it. He picked himself up out of his black cloth chair. He gave a small yawn, shaking his head he turned and walked away from the desk. He was at home in Statin Island for a few days, so he would need to actually take his car. Hopefully there would be parallel parking somewhere. He stuffed his hands in his pockets as he made his way out of his room and down the stairs, "I'm going up to Manhattan, I'll be back later." He called to his dad, who was most likely in his own office doing work calls. He rolled his eyes at the thought and grabbed his mom's keys to her SUV out of the bowl by the front door.
He opened the door to his house, shutting it loudly behind him as he continued on. Usually Evan was in a goofy mood, well that was normal for him but today he was in a exhausted mood. He walked around to the driver's side of the car, stopping when he got to the door. Evan noticed his mom hadn't really washed it in a while, it didn't surprise him one bit. There was cars more dirty on the road, but his mom never washed the car on the outside, he remembered his dad used to get so mad when he was living at home. Evan gave a light laugh as he recalled it all. He shook the memory from his head, and opened the car door. His mom was so much shorter than he was so he pushed the seat back then got in, and being a good driver he adjusted the mirrors before closing the door. He put his keys in his ignition, he hadn't really driven in a while since he lived at Waverly during the school year, and in New York City, no one really drives their own cars. Actually, hardly anyone owns a car. He was one of the only people he knew that had a car when he was 18, let alone got a liscense as soon as he could. He pulled out of the driveway and debated on whether he should go to the park or if he should go to starbuck's. If he went to the park most likely he wouldn't have to see someone he didn't want to see from school, who went to the park for fun? Well, some people but not many. It would be a 20 minute or so drive from here, Statin Island was very close to New York City. He'd driven it so much that he hardly noticed the time anymore, it seems like a five minute drive to him now. He usually let himself think about random things that popped in his head, it usually went by quicker when there was horrible traffic.
And there Evan was, trying to find a place to find a place to parallel park. Evan wasn't exactly the most patient person in the world. He actually forgot that he was already there from thinking way too much. He thought about basically everyone he knew, one in particular. He moaned, it was getting aggrevating. How long had he been driving around? Oh about 20 minutes alone searching for a parking spot. He finally saw one open up, he quickly drove over to it and parked. He actually might have cut someone off. All well, in New York City you had to be an aggressive driver. He took a deep breath, all he had to do was dross the street and walk a little bit to get to the park. He turned off his car and opened his door carefully. Shutting it he walked across the street and hit the lock button on his keys as he pushed them into his pocket. He reached the sidewalk and could actually see the park from here, he smiled at it. Finally somewhere that didn't use words he didn't even know existed in the english language. He bit on his lip as he walked with a pretty consistant stride. He was excited for some reason, but in another way he was just wanting to find a bench and crash. He walked into the park, all that driving for 40 minutes for this. He sat down on the bench near the enterance and just sat, maybe he should have gotten coffee, at least it would have woken him up a little.
