hand-clappin, hip shakin, heart breakin, there's no fakin; there wasn't a glimpse of the sun in sight. So it was raining out, but it didn't really matter to the soul that belonged to Tallulah Grace. rain is a way of feeding the earth, her mom had said. God was she happy to get out of the house. Her parents sort of freaked her out whenever they felt like it. And she sort of walked out whenever she felt like it. Ah, freedom. She had a dorm at the university now, and heard there was a little mumbo-partay for going back to school. Well, she really found no point in it. They would all go back to school, learn a bunch, then move on. She didn't exactly ponder on going and stuff. If she got asked she would. Of not, she'd hang out with friends. It really wasn't that big of a deal, y'know? Saturday mornings were fun for Tallulah. She liked watched cartoons, and that's hat she did in her lonely little dorm room. She could hear the rain lightly patter on the windowpane near her bed. She was still in her pajamas; which was a baseball tee from her father and loose boxer shorts she wore over undies. Hey, no one would be looking her over so it really didn't matter to her. Wow, but did she had bed-head. She had practically rolled out of bed, taking her pillow and blanket with her, and curling up on the floor next to the tiny television she had. She used the other bed, that was meant for a roommate, as a sort of storage desk. After about an hour, she got bored. She wanted to do something; and all she could think about was Jayson. She scrambled over to her desk, on hands and knees, swiping her slidey-phone and beginning to text Jayson.
Ima bored... meet me at strawberry field in 60?
She grinned when she had finished, biting her lower lip. She then scrambled to her shower, leapt in then out, pulling her hair together and drying it. She went to her close then, looking through her possible clothing options. She really wanted to just go and not care what she looked like; but that wasn't a possibility for her. Jayson was a little different... and she didn't know how or why. So she pulled out a black Nirvana tee that was much too big for her, light skinny jeans and green converse. She then pulled on a forest-green button-up vest. She slung her black faded messenger bag over her shoulder and headed out the door. She took a cab to Strawberry Field, rolling her eyes at the drama-cased middle-aged woman on her celly. She shook her head and stared out the window there. Every corner they whirled around, Lue slid her blue cellphone open and checked for texts. She sighed every time there wasn't a reply. By the time she got there, it was noon-thirty. She pushed the door open, listening to the jingle of the bell above her head softly chime as she entered. She looked around, smiling at the tattooed clerk and making her way to the back. She slid her hands into her jean pockets, one hand clutching the cell phone. She rocked back on her heels, finally getting bored enough to pull her hair back. She counted the number of Boys Like Girls albums she could find, getting a concluding count of 27. It was crazy, but she still liked them

Invincible ' ' "Just take my hand and well, Never let go because If we're together now We'll be together then. Step back and see me walk away And watch me run right back. I'll show you how to love again. This is the best idea I've had. (This is the best idea I've had.)"
Jayson breathed deeply trying to let the words come from his mouth but it wasn't as easy as it seemed today. "Dam", he said lowly as he layed his cold wooden guitar on his bare chest. Why weren't the words coming out the way that he wanted them to they just seemed to be so scrambled. JJ's brain raddled and his mind was flooded with brain juice everywhere. None of the words just seemed to be right or maybe it was just the over thinking that was getting to him. Well whatever it was it was taking over his mind slowly and surely. Jayson closed his eyes letting the soft rain splatter against the window as the gray clouds seemed to fill the sky. The window was half open letting water soak up the carpet. He didnt seem to mind though the rain some people thought was a hassle. To this guy the rain was something that let his inner thoughts flow around and come out with music. Witting some of his best songs in the rain or by just looking out toward the sky. Maybe that's what it had been maybe jayson just needed a few seconds to breath it all in and out. Then maybe some kind of musical genius would have least popped into his brain and be written on paper.
Taking a couple of deep breaths in and out letting the rain take over his inner thoughts. Letting the rain be his musical guide to that perfect song he had been witting. HE WAS GETTING SOMETHING, HE WAS GETTING SOMETHING. Jays heart began to beat faster, and his mind started to work harder and harder he was for sure getting somewhere. Words flowing into his mind one after another until POW. They had all disappeared just like with snaps of figure today had just not been his day at all. Or was it cause this song was going to be for her... Yes their had been a her in jayson's life finally and there was a possibility that this her liked him back as well. This was the first girl that jayson was actually going to try to take a crack at. She had just seem to be so different from the rest of them. Laughing at his lame jokes even though they weren't funny at all, taking in his weird ways. Even helping him threw some of life's most hardest things. Not to mention she wasn't all that normal either she was almost kinda like him in a sort of weird way. Not in the total yeah were so much alike like brother and sister.
It had been sort of a yeah were so much a like we should totally start dating kind of thing. But the word date, girls, or kissing had scared the crappers out of jay. Not only was he not so great at just taking to girls, but kissing them had been a different story. Might being able to kiss her made his body tingle and his heart pound harder with every beat. There had been plenty of other girls for him like Tin Tin, who had made JAYSON MAN! Meaning they had done the sexy time together and BOOM new man jayson no longer boy. If you caught his drift sure he had like Tin Tin but just not like they way he had like his TULLABEAR! Yesh that girl had made butterfly's as big as mini vans in his tummy. Made him think that there was something bigger then just puppy crushes and not only that. She had been the only girl that he didnt feel a complete dork around. That was because they were both complete dorks and when they hung out together they were consider two HUGE DORKS. Jayson smiled to himself this girl could bring a smile to his face and she wasnt even in the room.
She was in the other girls dorm on the other side of the school it made him develop butterflys. Knowing that Tallulah had only been in walking distance of the school. Maybe he should have just went over there grabbed her in his arms and kiss her until he couldn't breath. Well no that would have been kind of what the heck is this boy on drugs. No Jayson wasnt on drugs well not anymore at least but he couldn't just do that. Sure he like her but there was a lot of things ridding on this not to mention he was gonna ask her to the school dance. If Tullabear said no that was going to be the end for him and his secret would have beens spilled. Not only was JC holding his heart on the line but their friendship. To have a broken heart was bad but to loose a great friendship that had to be even worse. For him life with out Tallulahs friend ship was like life without candy and that world would be a sick one.
Who knew what would happen after jay would spill his secrets maybe ask Mo if she wanted to go. After all there was always other girls to go with he was kind of into the whole school dances thing. Going hanging out with friends, making baby's on the dance floor, drinking spiked punch. Then after hit up the after party's then maybe end the night with a couple of kisses. Yeah that's how it usually rolled down in this college if no one wanted to go with him then yeah it would just fly solo pimp daddy. Yeah that's right son go to the dance so all the single girls would be up on him. Alright so not like that but it was kinda close besides wasn't that every mans dream. ?xD// Jayson jeffe open his eyes blinking from the dim light that hit all around his room. No lyrics meant no song and it was getting to him why was it so hard to make a song for this girl. Was it a sign that they weren't meant to be or just stay friend. Shaking his head that was just getting a little to technical for him. What he needed was to get out of this emo looking room and find some sunlight. Well not sunlight but at least some fresh rain air to clear up his mind.
Picking himself up from his soft cozy bed, laying his wooden cold guitar on the spot where he sat. Jay looked toward the window seeing more clouds of gray start to pack in new York city. It was kind of weird weather for what was suppose to be a happy sunny Saturday. Was now turned into a stumpy cold Saturday but either way it was going to be amazing. Looking in his closet for something warm and dry that wouldn't soak up the rain. Finding a small babycakes hoodie slipping it over his black puff of hair. Screeching for a pair of skinny slim jeans that slid of his legs and a pair of vans that fitted great on his feet. And he was off! Wait wasn't he after it was a grand old day but what to do. Jayson scrunched his nose trying to think of something to do until a huge twist of fate had happen with in a blink of an eye. His phone had rang hearing A Rocket To The Moon start to play it was Tallulah. "Speak of the angel", he smiled looking toward the text message that answered his question of where to go.
Ima bored... meet me at strawberry field in 60?
There was the text message that he had read over what felt like a zillion times smiling to himself. What was with him acting liek some kind of love sick teenager well cause maybe he was. Jayson bit his lip this could have been perfect place to as her to the dance. The record store was his most favorite place in the world, and it was well just amazing. A place filled with every music ever recorded yeah strawberry field didnt get much better then that. Biting his nail wanting to write the best answer possible that could pop up into his mind. 'Sure See You There' Which had been the best possible answer for him -_-// MAN why could he be more smoother as he press the send button. Jay could have wrote Hey sexy legs see you in 60 with a winky face or something. But nope just a plain simple sure. Shaking his head moving outta his dorm and toward the music record store where his future date would be waiting.
The day was just like jayson saw cold, cloud, casty, and rain started to pour just when he had stepped out of the door. Most people ran for cover, or popped out umbrellas but not him he walked in the rain. danced in the rain, ran in the rain, trying to find anyway to hide from the cover. Most people looked at him as if he was crazy but he didnt care what anyone thought. So walking toward the record store jayson walked in soaking with his shoes squeaking and splashing out with water. So alright not that soaking but enough to see his black puff not be so puffy anymore. Opening the door seeing only a few people scratching for CD's and there she was counting the records. Most likely they were Boys like Girls it wasn't really his taste but if she liked them dam he liked them to. Jay walked up behind her leaning next to her "hey young lady have you see a pretty girl about this height im suppose to meet her here". Jayson laughed looking at her with a sweet smile.

hand-clappin, hip shakin, heart breakin, there's no fakin; The young woman stood fingering through a stack of old Nirvana albums when she heard the screaming voice of her sister emerging from her pocket. She shoved her hand into her pocket, panicking and finally finding her small phone. Shit, it was set loud. Her ringtone totally rocked though; it was her little sister Alisha screaming for her to answer her phone. Even though she hated her little sister at times, it was just cute to have her small elementary-school voice. A bunch of people in the store lifted their heads and made faces, spotting Tallulah and almost glaring. She sunk her head down and read the text from Jayson. Her face lit up. "Sure See You There" Well. A little plain. Was he mad at her or something. She frowned and shifted her weight, thinking hard. What if she woke him up? -GASP- Dear God, no. Please say she didn't. He was a lot like her in the way that he slept in until noon when he could. Maybe he really did sleep in that late. She ran a hand through her bangs as she thought. Well, he was coming, wasn't he? That's all that really mattered to her. For another ten minutes, Tallulah looked through CDs; new releases, oldies, the not-so-popular ones, and ones that she couldn't find the title of the band or album on the jumbled cover. Those were her favorites though; especially since they were usually the hardest sounding version of her music than any of them. She enjoyed that. Every minute or so, she'd slide her phone open to check for messages. You know, there was a chance that the phone wouldn't ring, eh? But, dear Tallulah, the impatient little girl she was, didn't have the patients to check all the time. Why was she even checking in the first place? She'd never sent him a text in the minutes she checked. So there was really no point unless he got lost or something. Which he wouldn't, because the two had gone to the record store numerous times, every time either getting kicked out or taking a few CDs without proof of purchase. But every time they had Tallulah had laughed until she had to pee, or watched him laugh until he had to pee or whatever. It was always so much fun getting together with him. But the girl couldn't help liking him a little. As childish as it sounded, she liked him, liked him. God it was sad. There she was, having the time of her little life, when a swarm of spiders crawled into her gut. It wasn't painful or whatever; it was just the way she described the feeling she got around him. She was tingly and sometimes lightheaded. She'd written little poems and stories about all these foolish feelings. She hated doing it, she felt so little and girly and whatever. Couldn't the two just be friends? Besides, JayJay never showed much of a sign that he liked her. Did that mean he really did? Or was she just drowning in reverse-psychology? Her thoughts were broken as a voice like Jayson's broke into her ears. Her face lit up as she whirled around. hey young lady have you see a pretty girl about this height im suppose to meet her here Tallulah grinned. Hey, JayJay. She said, leaning against the cartons of music. She smiled up at him. Wow, he could be so sweet sometimes. She was at a loss for words. She finally spoke up. Oh, look at this shit. I found an old Nirvana album... She said, biting her tongue cutely as she reached back to pick it up. She then held it up over her cheeks, her eyes shining above them as she grinned. I have to get it. I've had plenty time to search through this place, since you took so freaking long. Se laughed, joking of coarse. That was just another amazing thing about this kid she loved. She could totally joke around, even if it might sound mean. It only would if she were actually saying it to be mean. Otherwise it was all grins, and she knew he'd get the fact that she was just kidding around. Don't you know not to leave a lady waiting? She said, turning to the side and placing a hand just above her studded belt on her hip. She sighed and chuckled, grinning back up at him.
[ok, i can't post as long as yours is, trust me i've really really tried! please don't be mad, because ima rookie and this is almost as good as it gets! >.< sorry!]

Invincible ' ' Jayson smiled watching her intensely with his deep brown eyes that seemed to follow her every move. Every smile, pout and everything that she was doing. As everyone around them looked at them with perked eyebrows but wherever they went they always got that. They liked to stair at the girl with the screaming ring tone and the boy that just walked in soaking. It never mattered to him as long as he with her they knew they would have a great day. Tulla had been his first kiss, when they were just in second grade. Jaysons first crush mostly jayson's first everything well not everything but you caught his drift. He had never told her anything it wasn't worth spilling your feelings just to loose the best friendship of your life. This girl was just so amazing to him they had been friends forever since they were in dippers. Yeah it had bent that long since they had known each other. Well not that long but it had been second grade when jayson had gotten put into her class and got kicked out of his own. It turned out a second grade teacher couldn't handle a little boy well it was hard to when he always stuck pokey pins on her chair everyday. And Glued the pieces of chalk together, stealing the other kids day time snacks.
Jay son had been a real rebel back in the second grade but everything had changed when he had met Tallooos. Once he had just looked at her everything had changed. Pretty deep stuff for a second grader, but ok it didnt really go down like that. Once he had walked into that class he thought right away she had cooties. Or some type of girly sickness going on if he could have spotted it anywhere it was on her. Of course he was pro at knowing having 5 sisters at home really helped out they were swimming with cooties and Tallulah was just the same. The teacher had decided to sit him next to her of course she was the best kid in class a teacher pet if you will. Jayson hated her with all his might poking her, pinching her, sticking his boogers on her lunch box. Even sometimes making her cry but know that he looked back on it, it would just make him sick thinking how mean he was to her. Jayson hated himself when he was younger such a little trouble child but he loved the day that they actually became friends. It had been an early morning and the class decided to have an earlier snack time. Of course jay being the little dumb dumb that he was had forgotten his snack time snack. Leaving having nothing but and empty lunch box to look at he was considering eating his boogers when BOOM. Something amazing happen Tallulah have given him half of her twinky. Since then it was friendship forever.
If you just look at them know they were totally different looked totally different and felt totally different. Jayson didnt think girls had cooties anymore he fancied them more now. Talluoos wasnt a teachers pet anymore if anything more of a trouble maker just like JC. Chyeah the rebelness was totally addicting what could he do everyone just wanted some of him. [ ;// They had looked totally different too his puff black hair had grown twice its size. Finally forming into his body not having his squeaky little boy voice anymore and gaining a great musical ability. As for Tallulah what could he say, she had just looked like an angel to him. With nice golden brown hair, smooth skin everytime there hands hit each other. A lovely body that she always seem to hide underneath big band t-shirts that one day he just wanted to rip off of her. Like any other guy he had his fantasy about her even if she didnt feel the same way about him he could dream right. <.<// Aye that was just a guy thing but he still liked her either way they had gone to completey eneims to the best of friends. Having great times together getting kicked out of toys'r'us it turned out you couldnt have races down the illes. The 711 that was down the street from the college also turns out you still have to pay for the food evens though it was eatin in the store.
Hey, JayJay
"Sup", giving her a thousand percent smile moving his puffy hair to the side of his face. Looking down at her lit up face and her sweet plump lips tallulah small little sweet voice. He smiled feeling the butterflys that were big as mini vans start to flutter around smacking to his sides. Oh, look at this shit. I found an old Nirvana album... His eyes darted down seeing the old band CD this made his eyes widen. "WHOA", he breathed picking it up lighting with his figure tips looking at it if it was an old piece of art. When it had came to music jayson never took it lightly never took it as a joke but as a way of life to him. One day he wanted music to be his source of life, his source of waking up in the morning and creating music that could be reliated to everyone. Music that changed the world and maybe even changed peoples lifes along the way. "Its Brilliant how much do you think it is", he asked her taking it out of its case holding it in his hands. Feeling little tingles surt threw his hand and his body this was the best day of his life. This had to be one of the oringal Records of Nirvana he wasnt going to leave with out this today. WAIT NO FOUCOUS. Jayson shook his head he had came here for one reason and played to do something that even shocked him. But he had to the dance was going to happen tomorrow night sure he was going to be a little late. It had taken him a whole two weeks to get the courgae to even think about asking. "This Nirvana album is sweet but not as sweet you", jay laughed okay yeah that wasnt even smooth.
It was worth a shot though right he took his hand moving her golden brown hair from her face behind her ear. This was the place jayson always thought about asking Tallulah out on a date or to a dance. What other place would be best they were both music crazy and they felt the most cozy here. I have to get it. I've had plenty time to search through this place, since you took so freaking long. Jayson had laughed picking the CD back up he wanted it and jayson would do anything to have it and he meant anything. "how about you let me get it and you can come over anytime and listen it with me", he winked smirking down at her wow he was just a big corn ball today. With a million and one different pick up lines hey though hopefully she liked them as much as he did. Jayson laughed once more having his eyes trace her up and down stealing quick little looks. How in heck was he ever going to ask her to the dance. Jay had always knew that Talluoos had never been into that sorta thing but it wouldnt hurt to even ask right. Don't you know not to leave a lady waiting? "Well i dont see a lady", he teased smiling still leaving the questions for later or maybe was the right time?
Breathing in deeply jayson looked down at her with an award looking smile. Was it getting hot in here or had it just been him the air seemed to be getting thicker. Man if he didnt do this soon jay was going to pass out any second and that wouldnt have been good at all. "Um. yeah so Tallulah you know that dance thats coming up and thats totally lame". Taking a big sallow of nervous that were circling all over his body now he was never good at asking girls out. "I know your not into that sorta thing and well im not either to but i was wondering. You know since im a boy and your a girl". Stopping for a few moments feeling like all eyes were on him that everyone had dropped their Cds just to watching him. "WOULDYOULIKETOGOTOTHEDANCEWITHMEH", Jayon blurted out louldy this time eyes had dropped on the both of them. Feeling the side of his cheeks start to burn up it was something that always happen when he got embaaressed. Man it would have been just easier if they went to the park or somethign or he would have made a song for her. That would have made so much more easier for him then just asking her like this.

hand-clappin, hip shakin, heart breakin, there's no fakin; Tallulah giggled as he spoke the first word of the day. Sup. She almost burst out laughing. He was so cute with his little words, she wanted to just eat him up. But if she ate him, then he wouldn't be there anymore. She couldn't think like that. She'd start crying before she could even begin to think of him gone. No Jayson? What would life be like? She couldn't really imagine; and what she did imagine was blurry and unsatisfying. So best not let her mind wander to those sorts of things, because before she knew it she'd be calling him up begging for him to come over or something. With all the little things they'd done together, it was like an only way of life for them. Going to Caribou? ALONE? WITHOUT JAYSON?! No, it just wasn't possible for her. She showed him the Nirvana album that she was clutching, and when he looked it over she bit her lip and grinned. They were so much alike, it's almost scary. She could talk for hours on end about their music, and all the other shit they loved. Or they would talk about all the fun things they'd already done, then go do it again. It was cool. Brilliant, how much do you think it is? He then said, and she could tell he was totally glued to the music. Probably like thirty bucks now. She shrugged, sighing and looking back down at the music. It is an old record, She surrendered, knowing she wouldn't be able to afford it without starving to death. Yes, the girl was low on income. She wasn't afraid to tell it to Jayson if anyone. This Nirvana album is sweet but not as sweet as you, He said. Tallulah looked at him, blinking flatly. You're such a suck-up. She laughed, indicating that she was kidding. She then pressed her small hand into his mass of hair, messing it up as she giggled. He was so adorably, especially with his bunch of hair. And she felt like she owned his bunch of hair, y'know? He was all hers, always had been, even if there were other people. She knew him better than anyone, and loved him more than anything, right? Howabout I get it, and you just come over whenever you want to listen. Tallulah couldn't help but laugh. Great way to get me alone at your place, huh? She laughed, joking again. She was in such a good mood, and couldn't help but laugh with him. It was just what they did. Nice try, how about you just buy it for me? She batted her eyes at him, folding her fingers over the album cutely. She looked like a pouting little kid, and he would hopefully fall for it. He said something else, and all she could do was drop her jaw and press her hands against her waist. Excuse me? How rude! That was mean! She said laughing as she swatted at his upper arm. She the hugged herself lightly. Is it cold in here or what? Turn the A/C down. She said as she shivered, looking around for a vent that she could possibly smash. But then the kid spoke. She turned to look at him, listening sharply. Um. yeah so Tallulah you know that dance thats coming up and thats totally lame. I know your not into that sorta thing and well im not either to but i was wondering. You know since im a boy and your a girl. She cocked an eyebrow. What are you getting at...? Tallulah asked, smiling with a bit of confusion on her face. Was he going to ask her out? Was that what this was? She blinked a few times, feeling herself get a little red. She was nervously blushing, her fingertips turning white on the CD. WOULDYOULIKETOGOTOTHEDANCEWITHMEH Tallulah just blinked. Was he speaking English? Wha-- What? Sorry, She said, touching her earlobe for a second. He spoke so fast, she couldn't understand him. She almost felt bad, because she could see the redness in his face. He probably just asked her to that ball right now. She wanted to believe it, but wanted to make sure she was hearing correctly. He must've been, because her blindness when it came to this flirting thing wore off for a few seconds when she recalled all that he'd said to her. This albums sweet but not as sweet as you, That shocked her. He was flirting with her. How could she be so blind? She could barely tell if he was or not, since they'd been bestest buddies since they were tiny. She couldn't imagine him flirting. Of coarse she'd dreamed of it, because now she was recalling all the other times he had said corny stuff like that and probably meant it, but joked because she was too stupid to figure it out! Wow tallulah just learned a little lesson, and now she was as red as a beat, still trying to figure out if he'd just asked her or not.
ooc: 946 words bby! that's like, the best i've ever done! be proud! xD
