Atillthia has seriously inspired me. i love to write stories, which is one of the reasons why i love rping so much. but anyways, Thia posted one of her stories (which was amazing. if you haven't read it yet go read it or shoot yourself in the foot.) so, i have decided to open up and introduce to you guys one of my stories. its based on twilight but it really isn't the same thing. it has to do with a girl and werewolves in washington. but, as much as it pains me to say this, vampires are evil in my story, and they are mean to everyone. i did that so it wouldn't seem like i was copying stephenie meyer's work. im not done with it, and i tend to mess with everything as the story goes on, so tonight this is the version, and tomorrow it most likely be completely different. :] so anyways, i give to you one of my recent stories. -drumroll- SCROLL DOWN TO THE NEXT POST PLEASE. AND MAKE SURE TO COMMENT 'CAUSE IT MAKES ME SMILE. <333

CHAPTER 1. The trees flashed across the window as we drove passed trees. I hadn’t seen one house in about an hour. It was really freaking me out, how far we were going into these woods. My eyes shifted over to my mother, who sat in the passenger seat. She looked so frail. Her skin looked almost transluctant, her white blonde hair so silvery in the sunlight, her blue eyes so soft and content. She was relaxed against the seat, her eyes focused on the road ahead of us. I lay sprawled in the backseat, in navy blue shorts and a lighter blue shirt with a collar, and my eyes moved from the window opposite of me, and then up at the skylight at the top of the dark green Saturn that my parents had just bought. It was rather small, but apparently, to my father, ‘that was my opinion.’ He loves it. I looked at him, and he caught my eye in the rear view mirror and winked. I stared at his brown eyes until he looked away, to concentrate on the road, chuckling softly to himself. Me and my father had always had this game where we would stare at each other to see who had the guts to look away first. I remember him winning a lot when I was little, because I felt a little shy whenever someone stared at me for a long time. I would always look away, giggling. But now, usually I win. When I was little, up until I turned twelve, my eyes were brown, like my father’s. But for some reason, when I reached age thirteen, they began to get a bit greener, and then they had bits of blue. Suddenly, I had hazel eyes. My mother said that it ran in the family, and that it happened to my uncle Todd too. His eyes are a really pretty hazel. But I usually win because my father claims my eyes shift color if you stare at them long enough, even though it’s never happened before whenever I would stare in the mirror at them. This time I also thought he just needed to keep his eyes on the road. It was starting to get a bit bumpy here, I noticed, as the car rocked back and forth slightly. I saw my mother grasp onto the sides of her seat, staring intently out at the road. I glanced at my father, and he caught my eyes again. “Put on your seatbelt, Jen.” He said, nodding, gripping hard on the steering wheel. I saw his knuckles turn white, and it scared me slightly. I sat up and buckled my seatbelt, pulling forward, and putting my chin on the back of my mother’s seat. “Sit back, Jennifer.” My mother said, in her soft voice. She was obviously worried. She never said my full name unless I was in trouble. But I slowly nodded, leaning back against the leather seat, and looked down at the book I had brought along. I opened it, and struggled to read a few lines before there was a sickening crack, a loud noise, and the car came to a jolting stop. With one hand gripping the steering wheel, my father, threw his other arm out in front of my mother, whose skin went whiter then before, which made her look like a ghost, as she gasped. I closed my eyes, and I was thrown against my seatbelt.
Everything was quiet for a few seconds, before I opened my eyes, my eyes going straight to see what was in front of us. There was a big tree trunk in the road. We hadn’t hit it, it looked like. I looked at my father, who was shaking his head, pulling his seatbelt off. He climbed out of the car, walking over to the tree trunk. Then, a pack of lanky boys came out of the trees. Some were laughing, others frowning. They walked right up to my father, who started saying something to them. A taller boy came up to my father and began to talk, looking as if he were explaining something. Even though he was probably in his twenties, he looked bigger and more dangerous then my father, which scared me. I pulled my hair up into a ponytail quickly and looked at my mother. She was already getting out of the car. I let myself out my dad’s door and shut the door behind me, walking over to my father. Most of the boys craned their necks towards me and my mother, as we joined my dad’s side. Some grinned at me and elbowed their buddies. “We are truly sorry. We haven’t had anyone come by this way in a long time, so we didn’t think that anyone would be driving by here.” The older boy was saying to my dad. My dad looked calmer now, and he nodded. “When can you get this out of the way?” He asked. The boy looked at the tree, and then glanced back at the other boys. “’bout an hour.” He said, with a nod. My father look surprised, but smiled. “Thanks. By the way, I’m Tom. This is my wife Mandy, and this is our daughter Jen.” He rubbed my mom’s shoulder, pulling her close. I felt hot all of a sudden, and I noticed the bigger boy staring at me, with these amber eyes that sort of scared me a little. “I’m Jett. Those guys are Rocky, Ruben, Trey, Paul, Gerard, Frank and-“he paused. “Where’s Kiris?” Silence. The boys looked amongst themselves, with curious looks on their faces. “Ehh. He’s not here right now.” Said the one named Ruben, rubbing the back of his neck and looking at his twin brother Frank. “Leave a message after the beep.” Frank said, with a grin. Then they all went into a chorus and said “beep” in unison. They were really entertaining. And then, another boy had come through the trees. He was tall, about 6 feet, like the others. With black hair that was shaggy that he constantly flipped out of his eyes, which really shocked me. His eyes weren’t like the normal blue or brown or green. I could have sworn, staring at them, that they were a pretty purple color. He has a sweet smile and he nearly crashed into the boy named Rocky, who looked like he had a bit of an anger problem. I hid a smile, and I felt my dad wrap a protective arm around me. I glanced up at my father, and when I looked back at the boy, I found him staring at me. He had this weird, blank look in his eyes, and his mouth was half open, as if he were saying something, but stopped. I looked away quickly, and then there was a loud grumble. I looked back, and the kid named Rocky had the boy in a head lock. I gasped, and Jett frowned and went over to them. After growling something to both of them, Rocky let go. Jett grabbed the boy by the collar and pulled him up straight next to him. Jett grinned at my father again, and my father leaned back slightly. “This is my little brother, Kiris. Kiris, this is Tom, Mandy, and Jen.” My father raised his hand and waved a little, and my mom murmured a hello. Kiris was looking at me again, and I bit my lower lip. I saw the rest of the boy’s eyes on me, too. I felt a blush crawl up my cheeks and stain them red, which seemed to amuse Ruben and Frank, because they snickered and elbowed each other again, which for some reason caused Rocky to hit them both over the head. I looked down at the ground, shifting my weight from one leg to the other. Jett pursed his lips, glancing Kiris’s way, before turning around and looking at the fallen tree blocking the road. “Lets get working, boys.” He said, nodding to Ruben, Frank, and Rocky, then at Paul, Trey and Gerard.
My mother returned to the car and sat down in her seat, relaxing against the seat again. She had a stroke a few months ago, which explains why she was so frail and weak. Frank, Ruben, and Rocky hopped over the log to the other side like it was nothing, while Jett, Gerard, Trey and Paul got the side facing us. My father’s eyes went a bit wide. “Well, they must be into body building.” He said, and then walked off to examine the front of the car. I stood alone, my arms wrapped around my chest. And then, for some reason, my eyes yearned to see Kiris again. I looked around for him, and saw a dark figure disappear into the trees. Pursing my lips, I ran off after it. Nobody seemed to notice; I couldn’t hear anyone calling after me. I followed the dark figure for about 6 minutes before it got too fast and outran me. Was that even Kiris? I didn’t know anymore. Why did I even run after him? What was wrong with me? I didn’t know either. I looked around; trying to find a way out, but all the trees looked the same. Damnit. Why did we have to move to Washington, the most overgrown forest place in the entire world? I ran my hand through my hair, and suddenly there was a shadow covering mine. It smelled weird, all of a sudden, like fire. Was something burning? I turned around, and the dark figure was looming over me. I stepped back, and it grabbed onto my wrist. A scream bubbled up my throat, but for some reason, it wouldn’t escape. I looked up, and saw red, red eyes. Crimson colored, to be exact. A little squeak escaped my lips, and there was pressure on my wrist. I let out a cry of pain as I felt the shattering of bone beneath my skin, and I heard a sickening crack and sharp pain was shot through me. It was the worst pain I had ever felt before in my entire life, and it was obvious that I broke a bone, because I had never had before. This pain was alien to my body, and I felt tears spring to my eyes as my wrist hung loosely in the dark figure’s grasp. Then, suddenly, someone came out of the trees. It was too dark in the clearing we were in for me to see; the tall trees blocked what little there was of the sun. There was snarling, a guttural roar from the figure. The pressure was off my wrist, but I could feel myself falling. My good hand gripped my broken wrist, and I hit the cold ground with a thud on my bad arm, which caused me to whimper.
Then, the person who had saved me walked over, leaning over me. Everything began to get blurry, but I could hear a voice, off in the distance, talking to me. “Jen? Jen? Are you okay? What happened to your wrist? Oh wow. Come on, up you go.” I was suddenly in the person’s arms, and heat rushed through my body. I closed my eyes for a second, struggling to stay conscious. Then, I heard someone else’s voices. “Jen? Jen, where- Oh my god, Jen! Mandy, get over here!” A voice that belonged to my father. “I found her on the ground. She must have tripped over something and fell. Her wrist is broken.” “Jennifer? Oh, my baby! My poor baby!” my mother’s worried, frantic voice. I felt someone carrying me again, and a minute later, I was in the backseat of the Saturn again. My mother and father rushed into the car. I heard Jett saying something to my father. I smelled something sweet, like cologne and smoke, and then I looked up and saw Kiris leaning over me. “It’s going to be okay.” He murmured, clicking me in my seatbelt. I wanted to say something to him, ask him what that was back there, but I couldn’t find my words. He looked at me, and then shut the door. He placed his hand on the window, his fingers stretched out across the glass, watching me still, before Jett handed my father a white card and patted the top of the Saturn and stepped back, motioning Kiris to do the same. Kiris stepped back, his hand back in his pocket. My father took off, dirt flying up everywhere. The entire ride to the hospital, my eyes traced over the hand print Kiris left on the window, feeling comforted, and at home. I tried to keep the dazzling scent in my mind, but as I slowly slipped from consciousness, it seemed impossible. Then, my eyes closed and my head hit the seat.
