- sweet
kasper is really sweet. it comes with being a daddy. he is soft and sweet and nice. he can't help it, but he really can't find a mean bone in his body. he can't bring himself to yell, only when hes onstage. he just can't be mean to women. yeah, you could obviously see who wears the pants in a relationship with kasper. when he has a girlfriend, he treats her right. he kisses her and holds her hand in public, showing her off and showing people that she is his.
- overprotective
kasper, like all fathers around the world, is EXTEREMELY overprotective. especially over his little girl, emily. emily is his heart and soul. but he is also overprotective of his girl friends, which he has plenty of. he doesn't like it when women get disrespected by asshole guys. and usually when he sees it he stops it. - flirty
kasper is one of the most flirty guys you will ever meet. it comes with being a total sweetheart. he gives compliments to girls right and left, especially the ones who get down on themselves. he finds the good things about them and makes sure that they know it. its they way he is. - fun
kasper is really fun to be around, when he is relaxed. but he can't sit still for a minute. hes always out doing stuff, going somewhere or doing something with his friends or his daughter emily, whom he loves and spoils endlessly. he gives his daughter the fun, care-free life his parents never gave him. he likes to take his daughter with him whenever he goes somewhere with his friends, because he likes to show off what an amazing and beautiful daughter he has. - depressed
as fun and sweet as kasper is, he gets depressed alot. mainly the source of his depression is beth, emily's mother. he really loved her, but she had to go and die on him. he probably would have killed himself if it hadn't of been for emily. thats why he cherishes his daughter so much. she is the angel in his life.

ANOTHER PERSON'S OPINION ON YOUR CHARACTER: oh my god, i love kasper! he is wayy to sweet for his own good. i just want to hug and hold him all of the time. he is so sweet. his daughter is absolutely adorable! she takes off after kasper alot, i see. but, as sweet and charming as kasper is, he doesn't seem to want a relationship. i don't know why. its like, he reaches out, then withdraws. i think it had to do with something that happened with emily's mom. i'm not sure, but i am very curious about this mysterious, loveable boy.
be in love with you,

HISTORY:
Kasper Trinity Vandela was born in the beautiful but small town of Hicks Bay, New Zealand. His parents, Leanne and Steven Vandela were so proud. Kasper was born with a twin brother, whom their parents named Oliver. Oliver and Kasper caused havoc in Leanne and Steven’s life as young infants, but things began to cool down once the boys could sleep through the night, and so could Leanne and Steven. It was rather surprising how Steven and Leanne could handle both infants at one time, and juggle their jobs at the same time, and keep their social lives still alive. They loved the boys to death, almost as much as they loved each other. When Kasper and Oliver turned two years old, Leanne announced that she was pregnant with another child. Kasper and Oliver were moved to the basement of the house to make room for the new baby in their two bedroom home. But, Kasper and Oliver loved the basement. They had a whole floor between their parents. It was also very spacey down there, which the boys worked to their advantage. But they did go upstairs often, whenever their parents were painting or moving stuff into the new baby’s room. They were kind of mad that their parents had painting their dodger blue walls a light, soft pink color. But they soon got over it… once Steven painted the walls of the basement dodger blue. A few months later, Kasper and Oliver were called out of their classes. Their mother had gone into labor, ready to have the new baby. The boys were excited, but frightened by the loud screaming coming from the delivery room. They hid behind their rather large Aunt Laura until Steven came out of the delivery room, smiling proudly, declaring that he had a beautiful new baby girl, whom of which they named Abigail, but was shortened to Abby after a while. The boys loved Abby, and always wanted to hold her and hug her and kiss her and play with her and be around her all of the time, which drove Leanne and Steven crazy. And, unlike most boys around that age, they never picked on Abby. They teased her a little, but no real harm was to come to her when they were around. They were taught to respect women, which explains why Kasper is so damn sweet to women.
Kasper grew up well. He learned guitar from his father when he was around ten years old, who was a great guitarist, and helped Kasper find his talent. He taught Oliver too of course, because if Kasper wanted something or had something, Oliver wanted or had to have it too. You couldn’t please one without upsetting the other. They were like on, love/hate situation. One minute they could be fighting over something as stupid as the television remote and the next they would be laughing and poking each other and joking around. That is how their relationship is. They could never have a big serious fight or anything, because I mean, their brothers. Twin brothers, may I add, and they know for a fact that they can’t stay angry at each other for long. Usually it’s Kasper that gives in first when it comes to having a fight and then refusing to talk to each other. Like I said before, he can’t win an argument with a pretty girl, much less his twin brother. He was the sweeter one out of him and his brother. Oliver was the tougher, manwhore/assy one out of them. He didn’t listen to their parents when they entered teenage years. He was the one breaking the rules. Abby, thank god, stayed to herself and her friends. She didn’t want to be around all that crap, and Kasper was thankful for it. He didn’t want to have to deal with two badly-influenced siblings. Plus, he just couldn’t imagine his angelic, innocent little Abby doing all that shit. But Oliver, on the other hand, was really bad. He began to party hardy and drink and have sex. He took up smoking and eventually got Kasper into it too. Kasper did that stuff too, except have sex. He wanted to save himself for a while, for the right girl. And soon enough, that right girl came along right after he turned sixteen.
Her name was Beth Whiteley. She was one of the most amazing girls Kasper had ever seen or met before in his entire life, and she was beautiful girl, inside and out, which Kasper loved. She was amazing, with her bubbly, down to earth personality, her sweet laugh, her caring, loving heart. Kasper had gone to a wild party one night, being dragged by Oliver, and she was there. She had gotten wasted fast, he had noticed. And since she wasn’t in the normal clique that most of the kids were in, being new to Hicks Bay, the boys took advantage of her. One of those boys just happened to be Oliver. Kasper watched quietly from a distance, keeping to himself and his beer. Some kids stripped off their clothes and jumped into the pool. The boys got Beth to jump into the pool with nothing but her bra and underwear on. The boys stripped down to nothing and joined her. They played with her wasted mind. Then, one of the guys began to talk about playing a game called Big Dare. It was like Truth or Dare, but worse. It only had dares in it. The boys decided to take Beth to the pool house to play the game. She was the only girl that went to do it. Kasper waited for someone to go and stop them, but everyone was too shitfaced to even notice. So he decided to take matters into his own hands. Pushing drunken girls who wanted to get lucky with him away, he ran towards the pool house. He tried the door, but someone had locked it. He broke the door down, just as Oliver bent down, and slapped her across the face. She was in the middle of a circle of naked guys, on the floor on her knees. She still wore only her bra and underwear, and she was crying. Oliver greeted Kasper with a drunken laugh and a big grin, but Kasper pushed him off and helped Beth up. Oliver and the rest of the guys got pissed, but Kasper took Beth in his arms and ran off. He put her in his car and drove. He didn’t know exactly where he was going, but he didn’t stop until he reached an old church a bit off from town. He took her inside, finding it unlocked. He grabbed some old clothes that people dropped off for the poor and dressed her. She was still crying, but pushed against him when she finally got a good look at his face. He had to tell her that he had twin brother, and she finally calmed down. They lit some candles and sat under a statue of Jesus and talked for a while, before falling asleep, leaning against each other.
Kasper and Beth were inseparable from then on. Oliver was pissed at Kasper at first, but eventually let it go. Kasper and Beth went to that old church a lot after that. They started dating a few months before Kasper’s seventeenth birthday. And on his birthday, she told him to go to the church that night at nine o’clock for his present. When he showed up, she had a blow up air mattress in the center of the church. She had turned the statue of Jesus around, so that he stared at the wall. There was candlelight, roses, soft blankets. And Beth herself, looking beautiful as always. She had a red silk robe on, and for some reason when Kasper walked in there and saw her, he had a feeling that she had nothing on underneath. And, he soon figured out, that he was right. They spent the night at the church that night and they felt closer then ever to each other. A few days later, though, the worse yet the most wonderful news Kasper would ever hear came to his ears from Beth’s soft pink lips. She was pregnant, with Kasper’s child. She was crying, and Kasper felt so bad. He didn’t want her to be in pain. But when he asked her, she was half crying because she was scared to death. And the other reason she was crying was because she was happy that it was his child and no one else’s. They lost their virginity to each other and conceived a baby. Beth’s parents wanted her to give the baby up. When she refused, they disowned her from the family. Their family was real uptight. Beth was miserable when they did, but Leanne and Steven welcomed her into their life. They moved their stuff out of the extra room, what they used as an office, and that became Kasper and Beth’s room. They slept together, of course. They couldn’t bear to be apart during this time. Kasper loved Beth so much he wasn’t sure he was even sane anymore. All he wanted to do was hold her and kiss her all day. He gave her a promise ring, so she promised to marry him after high school. She happily accepted, and the pain of her parents turning their backs on her slowly ebbed away. She survived being the biggest girl in high school, as long as Kasper’s fingers stayed inlaced with her’s as they walked through the hallways. Even during class, he moved his desk right next to her’s and held her hand. She showed off the silver ring she wore on her wedding finger. The teachers smiled at them, and some disapproved. Beth worked hard at school, so that she could learn as much as possible before the baby came.
Things went beautifully as the months went by. Kasper and Beth planned their lives out; have the baby here, finish high school, get married, move to New York, go to a university, raise the baby, possibly have more children, grow old together. They bought the plane tickets a few weeks before the baby was due. But, when Beth and Kasper were taking a walk on the beach one day, about three weeks before the baby was due, Beth’s water broke. She was rushed to a hospital, and Kasper was worried sick. He stayed by Beth’s side the entire time, biting his tongue while she nearly broke his hand while giving birth, which had to be one of the most epic things he had ever seen in his entire life, may I add. All he had to do was look into those deep gray eyes of her’s, and Kasper felt a new love in his heart for his new daughter. Beth was weak, but they decided to name the baby Emily. It was a beautiful name, and Beth had always dreamed of having a daughter named Emily. But, as Kasper held Emily, stroking her head lightly as she fell asleep, the heart monitor on Beth’s bed began to beep frantically. Kasper was alarmed, and Emily began to cry. The doctors rushed back in. Emily was taken from Kasper, and Beth disappeared from his watchful, worried gaze as nurses pushed him out into the hallway. After a few minutes, a doctor came out and said the words that Kasper had dreaded ever since he met Beth. She was dying, and had maybe around twenty minutes or so before she would leave them. Kasper went back into the room, and lay down beside the girl of his dreams. He held her close to him, as he quietly sobbed into her shoulder. Her hands were enveloped in his. They spoke in quiet voices, and Kasper dreadfully heard her voice get weaker and softer until she was almost gasping for breath. He held her tighter, and the monitor began to beep again. But nobody rushed in. He could see the doctors and nurses staring in from the glass on the window, their expressions pitiful, and he sobbed harder into her shoulder, burying his face into her soft skin, before he heard her breath her last breath, before her body went cold in his arms. The whole room was quiet, and time seemed to go on forever before the doctors came and unlatched his hold on her, leading him out the door. The last he saw of his beautiful angel was as they rolled her away out of her room, the sheet on her body. He could see her left hand as they rolled away, and the silver of the promise ring glinted in the glaring hospital lights as she slowly disappeared out of his sight.
Kasper couldn’t stay away from the hospital. He was with Emily 24/7. He watched her as she slept, barely sleeping at all. He couldn’t sleep without the familiar scent of Beth beside him. When he finally got to take Emily home, there was a week before Beth’s funeral. He pulled out the best tuxedo he had, and bought a little black outfit for Emily, even though she was too young to understand what was going on. He held her close as he watched them put the sleek red coffin of his angel into the ground, his eyes tearful, as he gently swayed back and forth. He graduated high school with low spirits. He spent most of his time with Emily. Oliver moved out, and Abby was still in high school. His parents pushed him to move to New York. But Kasper couldn’t imagine leaving the place where Beth was buried. But finally, after a year of family time and help form counselors, he was ready to go on his own. He decided to go with the plan and move to New York. Emily had just turned four. With a handful of cash, he moved into a large studio and enrolled himself into Waverly University, and enrolled Emily into Pre-school. And that’s how things are now.

ROLE-PLAY SAMPLE:
Damia smiled as their little group got bigger. Yay, so now she wouldn't have to worry about going onstage and Calypso ripping that Riley girl apart. There are witnesses. She kept switching her guitar case from hand to hand so her hands wouldn't cramp up. That would have been really really bad, because she has to play guitar as well as sing. Yeah, tough, I know. She smiled at Calyspo when she complimented on her dress. "Thanks! You look absolutely amazing. I'm surprised Matty here isn't on his knees right now." she said, with a teasing smile at Matt. She knew that Calypso wasn't too happy at all that Matt would rather go to Homecoming with a nobody then Calypso. Everyone knew it, and it was obvious on Calypso's pretty little face. Damia looked at Calypso, then at Riley, then at Matt. She didn't know exactly what was gonna happen later on, but she was hoping that Calypso wasn't going to make a scene while she was onstage. Because then she would have to stop in the middle of the song and go after her, and that would be embaressing.
Then, Damia felt a hand on her shoulder, and looked back just to see her friend Dante standing there. She grinned, leaning forward and giving him a kiss on the cheek as a greeting. That was just how she and Dante were. "Yeah. He was sitting at home whining and crying because he couldn't get a date. " She said, shrugging, about her brother. He didn't look like he wanted to go, or was getting ready to go. He probably didn't even know she left the house yet. He was just... quiet. It was kind of sad. But had had been that way ever since Brooklyn. She just wished she had her brother back, the one that was always so fun and happy. When Dante said that he would have been her date, she tilted her head and pursed her lips. "Well, I wouldn't have been a very good date. Because I have a performance in about ten minutes." She said, but nudged him playfully with her hip.
Dami smiled, her arm linked with Calypso's, her head on Dante's shoulder. This was everything she ever wanted. She was glad that God decided to give her a second chance at life, because this was all she ever wanted. To be loved by everyone. She smiled in contentment, hearing another girl come up but didn't really look to see who it was. When she greeted Damia, Damia glanced at her but didn't take her head off Dante's shoulder. He smelled good. But then, he always did. "Hello." she said, to the girl who had come up. She didn't really get bothered when the girl kissed Dante's cheek. Girls did that alot with him, and she did it too. So it really didn't bother her as much as it used to. She was acctually used to it. Her eyes went over to Riley and Matt. They were actually pretty cute together.
Then, Damia saw the clock. Damn, she wished that she had a watch. She was on in like five minutes. Not ten, she must have been terribly mistaken. "Shit." She said, perking up. She shifted her guitar case so taht it was comfortable and quickly freed her arm from Calypso's. "I have to go. I'm on." She said, and broke through her group of friends, silently now regretting that she had said yes to doing the entertainment. She would rather be with her friends. But this could really help her career. But as she began to walk away from the refreshment table and towards the stage, she heard a voice calling her out. A familiar voice. It brought back memories, horrible, horrible memories, that stopped her dead in her tracks. She sucked in a breath and turned around, and her memories were correct. There stood her best friend. Her old one, from Brooklyn.
"Oh my god, Your here!" Damia gasped. She reached to embrace her old friend tightly, but stopped herself. She pulled her bangs back and shook her head. "I-I can't do this right now."She said, half to herself, before looking at Delilah. "I'm sorry, I have a performance." she said, really regretting the show, but what could she do? She muttered another sorry to Delilah and then disappeared through the crowd, towards the stage.
