she's such a rush she's one in a million``
click for clothes[/blockquote] If there was one person in the world that Tinsley felt she could count on other than her father, it was Tyson Braxton. He'd never given her a reason to think otehrwise and he's proven himself on numerous occasions. Even Tinsley knew it was easy to be friends with a girl liek her. She drank too much, alawys got out of control and left her friends worrying. She came off as ditzy, careless and at times selfish. Tysone however, had stuck around despite all of these things aswell as many more and Tinsley couldn't help but love the boy. Not in the usualy way she loved the rest of them though. No, this was quite different. It wasn't lust, it wasn't even romantic, it was simply knowing that without Ty, she'd probably be in a worse situation than she was now. The young male had the ability to make her see reason, it took some time but he was the only one who seemed to be able to get through her head. She liked that about him and had come to the decision along time ago that nothing would come between the pair again.
Yes, there had been the one time when she hadn't spoken to him after the whole Brett incident and she could honestly say it broke her heart to have to pretend she didn't know him. Looking back on it Tinsley couldn't imagine him ever doing the same to her and it always left her feeling slightly guilty. All of this was over and done with however and they were back to being the best of friends. A girl couldn't really ask for more than that.
As her cab pulled up, the Braxton residence came into view and Tinsley got that warm, fuzzy feeling you got when you were reaching somewhere that truely felt like home. Ofcourse it was nowhere near as comforting as the sight of her own home but the Braxton house had some appeal to it that made Tinsley love it. The house itself seemed perfect, as did the family that resided within. Everything looked perfect, everthing was well maintained and every tiem Tinsley visited she felt an empty hole inside herself. One day she'd have a home just like this one even though everyone thought she already did. Paying the cab driver, Tinsley slammed the door, glad to be out of the cab. The girl loved the attention she received from males but old, cab drivers were a tad too fara nd this one in particular had been extremely creepy in her books. He could keep her change, he could keep the lipgloss she was sure had slipped out of her pocket, as long as he didn't leer at her again.
Sighing, Tinsley took a moment to look up at the house before beginning the walk to the front door. How many times had she now made this trip? She couldn't even begin to count. It was another perk of having Tyson as a bestfriend. He had an amazing house that was usually stocked with everything they could need to have a good time. Drinks, DVDS, plenty of room for everyone. Tinsley always enjoyed herself when she came over and was beginning to regret her recent absence from seeing her bestfriend. Though a confident and strong minded girl, Tinsley could still be easily pulled along. She never saw it as peer pressure because she had no problem saying no to anything but if shown something that looked remotely glamourous or fun, she'd be there in a flash. No consequences, no regerts, no turning back. It's how most of her evenings went and this meant she usually forgot about those there were infact always there for her. It wasn't that she loved the people she was close to any less, she just got distracted and caught up in the moment.
Thankfully, Tyson had signed in on AIM when she was bored, got her attention and dragged her away from another night out on the town. Two hours later, even though she'd said it's be one at the most, she was now waiting at the front of his door for his maid or whatever other hired help they had to open the door to her. The last time she'd seen the boy was probably two weeks ago if her memory served her right. Ofcourse they'd made regular phone calls to each other, there's no way she'd loose complete contact with the one person she told everything. Well, almost everything. Seeing someone in person was just so much better though. I twas fun to see how peopel had changed over a period of time. Two weeks would hardly have brought around any significant changes but she was still excited to see him.
Once let inside by their maid, Tinsley gave her a polite smile, having forgotten her name even after all of her prior visits. The brunette had always been terrible with names. Actually she was terrible with remembering anything of importance or relevance. Crossing her arms across her chest, she was hardly about to start running around the large house in search of her friend. No matter how comfortable she felt somewhere, she wouldn't forget her mannners and make herself at home right away. Tyson could come to her. Patience however, was not one of Tisnley's stronger points and even though she hadn't even been there for a minute, she was growing bored of standing in the front hall of the house. "Tyson" her high pitched, girly voice called out in in a sing song tune, "Oh Tyson Braxton?" she continued, cupping her hands around her mouth so the sound would travle futher. Hopefull his parents weren't home, otherwise this could turn out to be extremely ambaressing on her behalf. [/blockquote]

{ tyson braxton ! _________________________________________________________________ it was about time tinsley dropped by and graced the braxton house with her presence. honestly it had been far too long since the girl had been over and tyson braxton did miss her quite a bit, to say the least. the hallways used to ring with the girl’s laughter as they did silly things such as play board games, watch dvds or just bum around. the pair of them were totally like siblings that got along very well. when they fooled around both knew it was innocent and playful. in fact, in the long time they had known each other, there had never been a sexual tension or physical attraction. ty could appreciate how hot tinsley was but he had never seen her as anything other than a sister. it wasn’t quite clear what the connection the braxtons had with the carmichaels but somehow the two families knew each other, if only on the surface, so that the two were able to meet as young children. but that was all in the past and their history really didn’t matter at all to the boy.
after logging off his laptop, ty had moved off and gathered the various things they’d need for the night. he’d also requested that teresa – the family maid and when he had been a little one, his nanny – to make some of her best homemade treats. all this sat in his room where he had also set up the fold out couch into a bed for tinsley. they usually spent ages hanging out and this time would be no exception, particularly since it had been forever since they’d hung out like this. there was no way ty would let tins take a cab back home at that time of the night though she probably did when she went out alone. still, ty would feel responsible should anything – on the off chance – ever happen to her on the way home from his place, especially since there was more than enough room in the house for her to stay the night. whether that was on the couch bed in his room, in his bed while he took the couch or in another room it didn’t matter; as long as she was still in his house and not on the way home with some sleaze of a taxi driver.
as he dumped their favourite movies and her preferred tv shows on dvd next to the tv that he had in his room, the high pitched voice of tinsley echoed from down stairs. a smile spread over his lips as he came out of his room. thank the lord his parents were away at some social convention. the pair that he was meant to call mother and father were rarely ever home and when they were, they seemed to be able to get lost within the house somewhere so ty could hardly find them anyway. only bothering to come half way down the stairs he grinned at the girl from above. "i’m missed the sound of your voice miss tinsley carmichael." deep baritone replied while motioning her to come up with him. "been in so many large homes that you’ve forgotten where my room is?" usually when tinsley came over she rarely bothered to shout, she’d just let herself into his room. and if he wasn’t there, it wouldn’t be a surprise for him to return and find her making herself at home. it was amazing they still hadn’t had an awkward moment such as him changing or something of the like. one could suppose they had the best of timing to avoid such.
ty waited for her to come to him before giving her a brief brotherly hug. "you’ve been away too long." he said softly before moving off towards his room. the braxton house was indeed rather large but it always held a homely feel to it rather than a cold atmosphere like so many other mansions did. perhaps it was the soft royal purple rug that covered the floorboards in their hallway, or the off-white carpet that was in every room and the nicely colour co-ordinated rooms. not a single room within the house had the same colour scheme. every now and then, his mother would have someone come in to change things around and that always involved a bit of work seeing as the wall colours had to change to match the furnishing but that was just the way of the braxtons. another thing about their home was that nothing was new, silver or glass, everything was either wood, antique or both. it seemed so easily for everyone and anyone who walked into their house to envision themselves at home.
coming to his room’s door, tyson opened it and stepped aside; ever the gentleman who waited for the lady to go first. in his room, the colour scheme was a nice rich blue. a feature wall behind his bed which was covered in a contrasting blue, three-thousand count sheet set – not that tyson was aware of the thread count and nor did he really care, it was whatever the interior designers chose. about two meter away from the bed, the navy couch had been moved and set up with baby blue satin sheets just for tinsley. a small, oak coffee table was placed between the two “beds” and piled with food both bought and homemade; snacks to last them the night. on tinsley’s bed there were various towels, a toothbrush, nightwear, robe and a manicure set out – just in case the girl needed something to do while they were watching dvds. talk about no expense spared; teresa was so considerate, ty had never even considered all that. a mental note was made to thank the woman later on. "so what should i put on while you get comfortable?" referring to what she wanted to watch that night as he closed the door behind them.

she's such a rush she's one in a million``
click for clothes[/blockquote] Something about the Braxton household made Tinsley feel like a princess. Maybe it was the lavish surroundings or maybe it was the fact Tyson Braxton had some prince like quality to him. He really did when you thought about it. The handsome, charming boy that was always saving the day. For Tinsley anyway. This prince however had envoked no real sexual desire over the years for some unknown reason and Tinsley had ended up loving him in a completely different way. Usually any guy as good looking ad Ty was free game but Ty, well he was different. He was possibly the one person she told everything. She even told him more than her girlfriends. Why? Tinsley had no idea but Ty was safe, he didn't giggle like an idiot when she told him things that probably made him uncomfortable and he was happy to share his tales with Tinsley. He was the boy she called when she was in an absolute mess, the one that would always come no matter what. Even when she was being a horrible person.
As the familar face appeared, Tinsley stopped examining her nails and let her mouth turn up into the biggest smile she'd smiled in a while. She really had missed her bestfriend. Everything about him really. She missed sharing stories and swapping advice. She missed telling him about the seasons new must haves and quizzing him on teh Breet situation. She missed calling each other names as childish as it sounded. Slowly walking dowards the stairs, Tinsley clinged onto the bannister, taking her step onto the first step and swung off it wit ha giggle, "How ever did you survive without me?" She questioned dramatically, regaining complete balance and quickly climbing the remaining stairs until she was face to face with Tyson.
Having not been to his house for quite some times, Tinsley had felt slightly out of place stepping through the doors. Her usual carefree spirit had vanished but was soon to return without a doubt as she began to feel more at home again now that she'd seen her host. "You just assume I'm good at finding my way into bedrooms Ty" she slapped his shoulder lightly with yet another giggle and threw her arms around his neck, latching on and hugging him as hard as she could. Another thing she'd missed, hugging him. It was lame, she knew but it was nice to just hug a boy and muck around with them without sex being the end result. Yes, perhaps she really had become quite slutty over the last year. Arms still tightly gripping onto him, she planted huge glossy kissed all over his face, laughing all the while, "Missed you" she mumbled honestly feeling all warm and happy once again. It had always been the males Tinsley was close to. Yes, she had amazing female friends and yet she still felt closer to Ty even without seeing him as often. It was the same with her family. The girl had always been a daddy's girl rather than favouring her mother. Something about being one of the boys was so appealing. Though it was quite hard to be one of the boys when you looked like Tinsley.
Following Tyson into his room, ofcourse she hadn't actually forgotten where it was, Tinsley was instantly at home. She'd spent countless evening here. Some with Brett, some with just Tyson when she was either too drunk to go home or needed the company. The colours of the house where forever changing as was the furniture it seemed but Ty's room was still Ty's and she'd still feel one hundred percent comfortable no matter what colour his stupid sheets were. Blue eyes darting around the room quickly, she couldn't help but smile alittle at the spread Ty had prepared. No doubt his maid was to thank for everything but the thought was still behind it and it was really quite sweet of him. A good upbringing or just a good friend, she didn't care what was responsible, she just appreaciated it.
Tinsley threw her toned, body down onto the bed Ty had made up for her, assuming she'd be spending the night and crossed one long leg over the other, taking a moment to admire her shoes as she did so. She'd come all the way here so she deserved to watch what she wanted. Good girl television was what she was in the mood for and as much as it would kill Tyson, he'd find comfort in the fact they'd be burning each others ears off too much to really wact hwhat was on. "Sex and the city" she grinned up at him like a little kid, knowing perfectly well she'd seen every episode but she could really care less. "I've decided I'm going to stop being like Samantha and be more like Carrie" Tinsley announced, not even sure if Tyson knew anything about the characters in her favourite series. Living like Samantha was fun, it really was but now that Tinsley had a friend like Keatie who was constantly encouraging her to misbehave, a calmer lifestlye was also looking appealing. Or maybe Tinsley was just beginning to grow up? If that were even possible. Despite the sex, drugs and nights out, she really was just a lost young adult trying to find herself and seeking approval. "You can be the boring prudish one okay? Or the crazy red head. It's you choice" she laughed, delegating out her own little roles as she kicked off her heels and tucked her legs beneath herself. Watching Ty she flashed him another cheeky smile, "Awwe I bet you missed me right?" she gave him a staged little wink, despite the fact she was serious.

{ tyson braxton ! _________________________________________________________________ eyes flicked over the girl, he adored her just like a sister and was very proud to say it to whoever would listen. no matter what happened, he always went out on a limb for the girl. time after time; regardless of whether or not the call came at two am in the morning or three pm in the afternoon, totally regardless of whether she was a block away or three states away, she could count on him to come for her. if she was crying because of a spilt coffee or a major heartbreaking event, his shoulder was more than available for her. and even with all the jokes he made and moments he hit on her, none of it was ever serious. incest sometimes sounded really good, every guy had some fantasy about it at least once in their life or been interested by the idea of an incest plotline in a tv drama. but in truth, none of them would do it. if it ever came down to it, ty would be sick by the idea of anything actually happening. so enough to never even think about the idea in a serious light.
there were times when it got a little tempting, like when tinsley reached him on the stair case and they stood face to face for a quiet moment. this was a time when ty sometimes looked at tinsley and saw a girl, but every time that thought disgusted him and he struggled to repress a gag. "i haven’t a clue. freud’s theory, i suppress bad memories." as he watched her move, something suddenly seemed a little off. she lost the bounce with every step she took. not the tinsley he knew and loved. but hurt even more, was that it seemed to be the whole walking through his house that did such to her. but he shouldn’t have bothered, her normal tinsley manner returned as quickly as it had disappeared. almost as if she’d never changed. "no... no... definitely not. if i thought that then i’d have to worry about you finding your way into my father’s bedroom. i just figured... yeah, whatever." he let his words fade away, couldn’t be bothered trying o explain a decent explanation.
the smile would not disappear from his face as he listened to her laughter. "missed you too." he mumbled into her neck. if there was one thing he wouldn’t ever forget it would be her hugs, well, he wouldn’t forget them if he had a choice of course. if there was one reason he loved having tinsley around it was because she was pretty much always happy and laughing. she was fun and a great friend.
tyson braxton had no complaints about what tinsley decided to watch, he was in too good a mood to ruin things over such a small thing. half his dvd collection was made up of things tinsley had suggested and he’d gone out to buy. putting the first cd of sex and the city season one on, he settled back on his own bed but kept close to where tins had throw herself. he’d watched enough sex and the city with tinsley to know the basics about who was who. "i think i’ll skip on being any of those women. i’m happy being me." came his amused reply to what she had to say. grabbing a little butter-cupcake, biting the top off and chewing for a while. eyes fixed thoughtfully on his friend. he was polite enough to swallow the mouthful before speaking again as the dvd menu came up and he pressed play. "so, even though on msn you say that hardly anything of note has happened to you, talk to me. it’s been ages." the pair had never run out of things to talk about so he didn’t see why they should start now.
{ooc: sorry, having an off day. will hopefully be able to do better in the next post.}

she's such a rush she's one in a million``
click for clothes[/blockquote] Tinsley and Tyson mucked around. That's what they'd been doing for years and they probably always would. They'd tease each other but both knew they weren't serious."And then you'd be wishing you were your father" Tinsley poked her tongue out cheekily at the boy. There was no denying it, Tyson Chambers was incredibly hot and yet nothing had happened between them. Possibly because they'd taken the time to get to know each other, formed such a strong bond and now neither would risk ruining it. She liked that, she liked that alot. Tyson was safe to bea round, he was fun to be around and he was probably the most important guy in her life. Asides from her father.
A hand ran through her hair as her eyes flicked over the television screen, her head bopping along to the familar beginning tune of her favourite show. The only shoe she ever made time to watch. Yes, though she was more happy being one of the boys, she still had her girly moments. She dressed like a girly girl, she giggled like one and she acted one but Tinsley had always felt far more comfortable when surrounded by males. Girls were bitchy, the backstabbed each other and they were always comparing themselves to each other. Guys were just casual and fun. It made sense Tinsley liked their company better. Oh yeah, plus she liked the attention they usually showered her with. "True. I like you better as you anyway" Tinsley nodded with authority, looking back to her bestfriend, "Besides, you're not pretty enough to be one of them" she teased once again, flashing him a huge grin before blowing him a quick kiss to show that she really was only joking.
Tinsley really only needed the background noise. She hated silence and even though she'd probably spend the night speaking to Ty, she still liked to have that sound behind them. It was comforting to her. Wrinkling up her nose, Tinsley thought of the past few weeks in which she hadn't seen Tyson. What should she tell him? Everything obviously but nothing too interesting popped into mind. A girl like Tinsley was always doing something but sooner or later everything seemed boring to her. "Well..." she began with an exagerated sigh. "I got suck in the mall with Cady and your lover Brett and everyone" Tinsley started off her list speaking as a little girl would, repeating the days events to her parents. Fast and quick as if nothing was of amazing interest. Not many people got stuck in malls but it didn't seem like award winning dramar to Tinsley. Atleast she'd got the chance to through in her little hidden Brett comment. Stopping for a moment to think, she rested her head in her hands. "That stupid bitch Lauren Lexington or whatever her stupid name is likes the guy I like and she's going to win" Tinsley pouted to herself at the thought, realising just how immature she sounded but she really didn't care. She would give details of all these things later on if required but for now she needed to list them off so she wouldn't let any of them sleip past her. "Keatie moved in with me. She'd my new B-F-F-L" Tinsley giggled at this piece of exciting news, "Don't worry, I still love you, Brett and Cady though" Tinsley added feeling abit bad for ignoring her friends the last few days while she was off having fun with Keatie. That girl really was having an impact on her life now that Tinsley thought about it. "I don't know what else?" Tinsley scrunched up her face in thought as she replayed her last weeks in her head, looking for something that might be of interest for Tyson, "Oh yeah and I bought the best shoes ever" she finished, resting her hands on her bare legs as her quick list finally came to an end. "See? I told you there was nothing that exciting" she pouted as she made her point.
Tyson probably had a lot more interesting stuff going on in his life and Tinsley was eager to hear it. The girl was always off drinking or partying, nothing much changed. Maybe one day she'd grow up a little and her life wouldn't seem so wasted but for now she'd spend her days goes clubbing, going shopping and hooking up. May aswell make it last wile she was young and beautiful. "What about you? Have you married Brett yet?" she asked with a small laugh. "I haven't seen Heath around for ages. Did you kill him? Move him to Antartica?" Tinsley asked hopefully as she tried to find out what had been going on in Ty's life.

{ tyson braxton ! _________________________________________________________________ ty grinned at tinsley for her tease. "and don’t you know it." came his reply. wishing he was his father? most of the time he hoped he’d learn from his father’s mistakes, not repeat them. you see, when it came to business his father was a master at it but in terms of family the guy was a total failure. ty could never depend on his father to be there for him. as a child ty probably spent more time at too many soccer games looking for his father in the crowd rather than actually playing. ty knew it was different for tinsley. the girl’s dad had been around like a father should have been. she could rely on her father for anything and in this way, ty envied the girl. but it wasn’t something that was to be lingered on. tinsley was his little sister, in a way it was just the simple sibling rivalry thing but in all honestly, ty could never really be jealous of the other girl because he was just happy for her. happy that she’d turned out so well, turned out to be such a great girl and be grateful that she kept him in her life despite all.
blue eyes probably spent a little more time watching the girl next to him more than the tv screen, and he wasn’t watching her with indecent thoughts in mind unlike so many other males would. "i like me better as me too." he said, amused by the authority she used. as if her decision was final and should not be argued with but in one of the most cutest way authority could be executed. soft chuckle was given to what she had to say about his looks. "and you’re too pretty to be any of them." he observed. and it was true, for him anyway – in a totally unperverted way. tinsley carmichael was way better looking that all four of the sex and the city girls put together. it was perhaps a little harsh and a lot bias but hey, ty could probably pull a couple of other guys together to back up his statement.
stuck in a mall? trust tinsley to find herself in such a situation. but with cady and brett? well, that would have been an interesting thing to hear about. particularly the brett part, though he’d never admit how much more interested he was after she had mentioned his ex. ty kept the topic in mind to bring up after tinsley had finished talking about her week. tinsley liked a guy that someone else was sweet on? now that didn’t exactly come as a surprise though, the idea that tinsley actually liked someone was also something to be explored once the girl had finished talking. ty was a good listener, tinsley had taught him well. plus, he liked the sound of her voice. the way the tones changed and varied. the schoolgirl like manner in which she said things. many times on the phone he could almost fall asleep to the voice. keatie, the girl that had been mentioned earlier. so tinsley had a new roommate. a roommate that he should meet apparently, that was also committed to memory though he wouldn’t have anything to say about the french girl, ty would just go out and find out for himself. he always preferred meeting the person rather than taking what other’s had to say for the truth. a smile spread over lips once again at tinsley’s assurance that she still held her longer held best friends still in heart. eyes flicked down to her feet at the shoes. "interesting shoes though, the years with you still haven’t taught me much about what makes a good shoe so i’ll just keep taking your word for it. but aren’t those shoes kinda painful?" he’d never taken well to the idea of heels, even if they made a girl’s legs look pretty darn fantastic.
"and you should give yourself a little more credit, there was more than enough interest in that. like getting stuck in a mall? how in the world did you manage that? what did you guys do? who’s everyone? you obviously got out ok in the end." ok, so most guys didn’t listen to what a friend had to say and then ask so many question to aid the girl elaborate about what she had said but like it was said before, ty liked listening to tinsley’s voice. plus, they had a whole night to burn. if they didn’t talk, what would they do? as if they ever actually watched what they put on the tv, not properly anyway. picking up a chocolate biscuit he bit it in half before pointing the other end at tinsley. once he’d swallowed the half that was in his mouth, the guy spoke again. "and this guy that you like, do tell me about him. like... who is he? where’d you meet him? when did you meet him? how did you two meet? what and why do you like about him?" all the typical questions starters. who, what, how, when, why and so on. but hey, they covered all the important interesting information. ty wondered if he’d end up knowing the guy.
in his own life? hardly anything had happened. little occurred with him since brett had broken up with him. in fact, it almost felt like his life had somewhat ended since she’d left and he was just floating around in a kind of purgatory or something. it had, to be quite honest, been ages to the point of years since they’d broken up and ty had almost gotten over it once but then he saw her again and she’d looked fabulous. she had that glow of happiness about her and he was gone. he had to have he back in his life. she was like the sun, a little piece of light in his life that he had had commissioned to be stolen out of his life. of course one could not know what they had until it was gone. now, if only he could get one more chance; he’d make sure he didn’t screw up that one chance. "if i’d married brett you’d know about it. you’d probably be the first to know about it after me and brett. after all, you are best friends with the two of us. and heath’s around, just being a little elusive." heath had undergone a change over the recent times. it was hard to say why. ty saw less of him, a lot less of him. it was strange considering they had been best mates since they’d met. something had changed in heath’s life and whatever that change was it couldn’t have ty around. there were rumours of heath and brett but ty refused to listen to it. he’d seen no evidence of it despite the rumours. "i did however, get the pleasure of being about to hang out with brett for the first time in like a year. we just both happened to be on msn and had no plans for the day. so we went out and they she stayed over." he shared everything with tinsley and could trust her not to say anything. perhaps this would be a good chance for him to dig a little dirt from her. she was one of brett’s best friends so surely brett talked to her. "as brett said anything... about me. about heath? what’s going on there anyway? there’s so much gossip going around but is it actually true?" a slight look of pain couldn’t be hidden from ty’s handsome features as he mentioned heath and brett together. it was a pretty big blow to the ego. your ex with your best mate. it wasn’t something you really wanted to think about. in fact, it was meant to be an unspoken rule wasn’t it? that you just didn’t go out with your best friend’s exes. a weak smile was presented as piercing blue fixed themselves on the figure of tinsley.
