WHAT'S GOING ON? Jensen Westley, Jude Kite, Cady Matthews, Brett Kite, Evan Chambers, & Tinsley Carmichael have all been trapped inside the mall. How? They don't know. Somehow they just have been. Everybody has met up with eachother, and now they're just finding out that they have been stuck in the mall with all the lights turned off, and are trying to calmly figure out what to do, but as far as everybody's concerned.. there's no reason to be calm. In fact, Jude Kite is basically the only calm one. Let's see what happens...
WHY ARE WE HERE? Jude, Jen, and Evan all came together while Brett, Tinsley, and Cady came together. Somehow the news slipped them that the mall would be closed down early, and ended up meeting each other eventually after the mall had shut down and the lights were out. Most of them are shaken, some looking forward to a night in the mall, and one quite calm about things.
POSTING ORDER? 1. Gaby (brett) 2. Jess (evan) 3. Spunky (cady) 4. Tahlia (tinsley) 5. Flick (jen) 6. Spunky (jude)

brett paige kite ,right now everything you want is wrong, and right now all your dreams are waking up.
this was just perfect.
really, it was like the cherry on top of a perfect day. what else could brett possibly want other then be locked with her brother, cadence, evan, and dumb and dumber inside the new york city mall? seriously. right now, if things had gone well, she would be finished shopping at sephora and soaking in a nice bubble bath at home. but no. god hated her. honestly, right now brett was on the verge of pulling her hair out. but she was putting on a show for everybody. on the outside she appeared calm and collected, without a care in the world. that was her usual attitude, anyway. but the whole scene was just so... awkward. you could probably cut the tension with a knife. it was that bad. she knew everyone locked in the mall was connected somehow. wether with flings, or dating, or ex lovers, or siblings.. and it was so irritating. and on the other hand, who was stupid enough to get stuck in a mall?! right now, everyone was just standing around in a circle. some were trying to kick the door open, some were chatting among themselves, and some were just freaking out. as if they didn't even care they were locked in a mall. pfft. if only the stores were actually open, she'd be the calmest duck in the bunch. but nope. god really must hate her.
the day started off with brett, cadence, and tinsley deciding to have a day at the mall. after all, the girls were pretty well off, so they figured they could shop until the mall closed. they had arrived together in the afternoon. brett had been so into the newest lipgloss from sephora, she hadn't even heard the voice over the intercom saying the mall would be closing early. of course, brett was always distracted by the smallest things. so she probably wouldn't even have heard it either way. when brett, cady, and tinsley had all left the store, the mall was empty. it was pretty strange since the NYC mall was crowded so much it was sometimes difficult to even make your way through. and then pretty soon, all the lights had been turned off. not much sooner, they had met up with jude, jensen (much to brett's discomfort), and evan. it was really hilarious how these things all worked out, wasen't it? brett felt like this whole thing had been planned, even though it was pretty much impossible, and the real meaning everyone was here was because they wanted to kill brett paige kite from frustration.
she was just waiting for someone to jump out and yell, "you've just been punk'd." where was ashton when you need him?
brett sighed, rolling her eyes. she really couldn't see a thing if it weren't for the floor-to-cieling windows letting in the moonlight. brett cocked her head to the side, thinking about the possibilities. she had ton of choices right now. choice number 1: find a gun somewhere in the mall, probably wallmart, and kill everyone. choice number 2: kill everyone. and choice number 3: gag at jude and jensen acting so lovey dovey. "hmm, do you think maybe we could break the window with my shoe?" brett wondered, glancing down at the four inch heels on her feet. it could work.

EVAN ANTHONY CHAMBERS -------------------------------------------------------------- Evan really couldn't believe how well things were going today. Really, I mean the guy has been dragged to the mall by Jenson and Jude, AND NOW he was stuck in here. Oh you think the fun would stop there, but no it doesn't it gets better. Now, we all know that Jenson and Jude have been all over eachother all day. And you know, boyfriend-girlfriend so more power to them but can't they do it when Evan isn't the third wheel?! Oh no, but guess who else is stuck in here? It's just too perfect. Brett, and let me stop there for a moment because Evan knew that Brett and Jenson did not like eachother. Hmm, I wonder who will play peace maker between the two... Evan?! Then, of course you know Cady has to be there. Isn't is torturing the guy enough to be stuck in the mall with his best friend and his best friend's girlfriend? No, I guess not. He wasn't in a completely happy-Evan mood. Who is going to be in here next?! Heath?! Greaaat, it sounds magically just thinking about it. Now, Tinsley, Evan didn't mind her being there. She was pretty cool atleast he had someone sane to talk to.
Evan crossed his arms, he knew that people were going to expect him to be the goofy guy but he really wasn't feeling it. He began clearing his thoughts in order to listen to what everyone was saying about the situation. They couldn't be stuck though. There was absolutely no way. Evan let his arms down by his side, staring around the mall trying to find an exit that could possibly be open. He sighed, wasn't the security supposed to make sure EVERYONE was out of the mall before they locked up? Actually, they were probably not paid enough to do their job correctly. Maybe that's why. When it's five, it's five, you know? Evan had gotten so preoccupied with trying to find something else to concentrate on other than Jen and Jude that he just lost himself and didn't hear any announcements. Jude and Jen probably didn't hear it either being all 'I LOVE YOU BABY'.
Evan tilted his head at Brett, throwing a shoe at the window? No. He looked down at her shoes, giving a light laugh at her comment. He nodded his head at the group, "We aren't locked in. Stand back, let a real man open the door obviously you guys weren't pushing hard enough." Evan turned around and walked towards the door, there was no way on god's green earth that they were locked in this waste of space they call a mall. He pushed, but it didn't open. So he pushed harder, putting all his weight on it. "It's just stuck, I can get it open!" Evan back away a little, running at it and pushing it with his shoulder, "Eff! Dxmnit!" Evan grabbed his shoulder and glanced at it for a moment, "Alright, I'll get it this time." Evan let go of his arm, taking a deep breath, kicking the door with all his might. He bit down on his lip, that one hurt his knee that he tore his ACL on. "Fxcker! I give up that hurt like hell, stupid mother fxcking knee!" He slightly limped to a bench right infront of them and sat down, even more upset now than before.

` and she's the clueless queen of the NYC, [ click for clothes ] Honestly, she didn't even know how it happened. One moment she was with her two best friends, and the next she was trapped inside a mall. Things happened that way; especially to Cadence Reagan Matthews. If she didn't find the drama, the drama found her. She was high class; it had to happen. She remembered a little bit of it. Cady was standing in Sephora, holding up a tube of lip gloss to Tinsley. They had grabbed something from The FroYo, and it had obviously been a while since she used the bathroom. Both Brett and Tahl were far too busy with their make-up pleasantries, so Cady left them in the store while she went down the wide 'hall' and turned on her right where a large sign had been marked 'BATHROOM'. The mall was almost empty; that was strange. It hadn't taken long in the bathroom, and nobody was in there save herself. She had washed her hands and re-applied a the thin coat of mascara on her lashes, washing her hands once more before leaving the place. She closed the door behind her but noted that she had forgot her mascara. It had been expensive; twenty bucks for one stick of it. Cady really couldn't complain, because it was top notch. All the more reason to turn back and get it, right? To her distaste, however, the door was locked. She remembered hearing the jingle of keys and the click of a lock, but she didn't think that it would be closed this early. The mall was open for another three hours, wasn't it? Cady looked down the halls and a chill went down her spine. The kind of feeling you get when you're sickeningly awakened.
All the lights were off, except the dim ones hanging in the closed up stores. She had found her way back to the front of Sephora where a very unhappy Brett was standing, and Tahlia was looking about with a frightened aura about her. One thing lead to another and they ended up meeting with Jude Kite, Jensen Westley, and none other than Evan Anthony Chambers. She didn't look at it as a curse, however. Cady's mind didn't work that way. "We'll figure it out," she had informed her two friends before they had met up with the rest of the group. Evan. Her goofy ex. He was more than that, though. He was her friend. She cherished that, and held it close to her heart. Along with being totally awesome, Cady was sometimes totally clueless. Then again, she wasn't really looking very hard; even if she thought she was.
Now that everybody was in one place, they were even more disorderly than they were a part from each other. Brett was either plotting to kill everybody, or talking to Heath Farro on her phone. Tahlia was doing something off with Jensen. Jude was trying to figure things out, and Evan - oh poor Evan- was trying to be macho man. Sometimes the best of us just can't accept reality in stressing times. Cady guessed that Evan was one of those people. He had pushed, but the door didn't jar. Cady rolled her eyes and crossed her arms across her chest. As for her, she wanted to have fun. That's all she actually cared about in the long run. As long as they could look back on this memory and go 'wow, we were stupid' then she was fine with it. She didn't want it to turn into a huge hate-fest just because some of the people she was with didn't like each other. Especially Brett and Jensen. She turned to face Jude who was standing by the window, looking out at it. He was pretty much the only completely calm one. Cady had to admit that she was pretty shaken up too. She walked over to Jude with her sweater-bearing arms folded across her stomach. "Guess you'll think twice about taking Jensen to the mall next time?" she smiled at him. He looked towards her with a smile, his milky chocolate eyes trailing back towards outside at the moon. "At least we have a great view." he said, his voice drenched with the thick brittish accent that gave away his heritage. She had always gotten along with Jude. He was just the kind of friend she loved. Laid back, easy, and looking for fun. Still; it confused Cady about how 'on time' he always was. It was a little scary.
THERWACK.
Her body turned in a surprise reaction to the noise behind her. Evan smiled, trying to cover up his pain, cursing out loud as he made his way over to a bench. She chuckled. Evan would try to do that. She made her way over to where he was and sat down next to him. "Hey macho man." she teased, her taunting smile playing across her lips. "I think you might've torn your ACL a second time." she nodded and laughed cheerfully a few times. She looked towards the door, a smile still on her face. It slowly faded, but still remained. "Face it. We're stuck, but look. But we don't have to ruin a good memory. We've got to make it fun!" she turned to him again, her saphire blues boring into his chocolate browns. He was such an amazing guy. It had ended after a while for them. Cady didn't remember why, even. She had so much on her plate at the time... everything was so distracting. She couldnt' focus on the important things, but she didn't want to grow a part from Evan either. He was amazing, and she knew it. So in light of that event, she and him had agreed to friendship. She was a bit stuck on Easy Walsh and Jensen's brother, Brandon. Evan was just her friend. Or was he? If Cady had been paying attention at all she would've known that he still had feelings.
If she had been paying any attention at all, she would've known that she still had feelings for him.

` real like a super star i feel it in my soul [Click for Clothes] What was the world coming to? Gone were the days when you could go to the mall with your friends and actually leave through the automatic doors along with every one else. Okay, perhaps that was an exageration. Gone were the days Tinsley Marie Carmichael could got to the mall and enjoy a normal day. Perhaps this was karma or some way for the universe to tell her to stop spending what she didn't have. Wasn't it already too late for that though? Hadn't she just spent hundreds on things she didn't even need. Well, good plan you stupid universe, you didn't achieve anything but a very pissed off beauty queen.
As many days before them had happened, Tinsley and her two bestfriends, Cadence Matthews and Brett Kite had headed to the mall in order to spend away their parents hard earned money. Well in Cadence and Brett's case anyway. Tinsley? The girl was used to spending what was not hers. Credit cars, loans, anything to keep her living in the lap of luxury really. The small modelling jobs she did allowed her to pay a majority of it back and earn bragging rights when seeing her face in magazines and such but not even that could cover the costs of living for a New York City IT Girl. It was a must to fit in with the in crowd however and no expense would be spared.
How this unfortunate mess had happened, not even Tinsley was sure of. The twenty one year old was used to letting the world go by without bothering to stop and see what was going on. The last thing she remembered was deciding she'd be in a Sephora ad one of these days and racking up a total of six lipglosses on the register. Well atleast she be a prisioner with glossy lips in the mall. It had always been a little fantasy of hers to be stuck in a mall with her friends, she just hadn't expected it to be this creepy. With lights off, no stores open and the usual bustling of crowds gone, it really wasn't that great at all. Instead it was cold and she could already predict her company would soon turn out to be extremely annoying once they were past their entertaining stage. Watching the group around her and the the surrounding area, the same thoughts as Bretts passed through the brunettes working mind. Were they being Punk'd? It seemed unlikely as none of them were exactly famous, except in their own little worlds but she was getting to the point were nothing seemed logical anymore. "I swear to god, if Ashton jumps out, I'm going to punch him in the face" Tinsley thought aloud bitterly as the reality of the situation began to set in. Spending teh night in a mall would just not do, she had plans that evening. Very handsome plans infact. Handsome with a platinum credit card and a Mercedes. She was ready to die. Trapped with Brett, Jude and Jenson? Chances were instead of using her heel to break a window, Brett was going to use it to break Jensens face. And then there was the issue that, yes, once upon a time Tinsley had been crushing on Mr Jude Kite and all of this was unknown to Jesnsen. Stpiud mall, stupid people in the mall. God, she was probably going to die.
Die? Actually, what if that was possible? Tinsley remembered seeing a movie once where a bunch of teens got trapped in mall and all got murdered. It was true, Tinsley overreacted to situations all the time and obviously she had an overactive imagination. "I saw this in a movie once" she nodded sadly, checking behind her to make sure noone with an axe was about to lop off that head of hers she'd grown to love over the years, "This killer totally killed everyone" she frantically retold the tale. And who did the killer usually get to first? The hot, whorey one. Dammit Tinsley cured her whorey ways instantly. Ofcourse she could share this little piece of information but chances were it would start a huge fight if Brett brought up the fact Jensen should be the first to die. Scratch the killer idea. Tinsley was way more scraed of Brett. Tins had never had any real problems with Jensen but for reasons unknown, Brett did and if it came down to it, Tisnley would rather be dead than choose between the pair in the situation. Well, atleast noone could accuse them of being dull and boring. They were trapped in a goddamed mall. It doesn't get any young adult drama than that now does it?
It seemed she wasn't the only one going out of her brain either. Evan Chambers, who Tinsley was nearly one hundred percent sure was in love with Cadence, was already getting cabin fever or whatever they called it and was throwing himself into obviously locked doors. Hello Sherlock? If the doors were going to open, they'd be out by now. Still, she couldn't blame him for trying. Atleast he was putting in some effort and it seemed to be grabbing him the attention of his goregous blonde companion so who was Tinsley to complain? His sudden yelp of pain was too good to not laugh at, she couldn't help it and as Tinsley felt into a fit of uncontrolable giggles she only hoped Evan wouldn't be offended or hold it against her. He lightened her mood up, she'd give him that much. "We're in a mall, with no stores open Cady. How are we going to make that fun?" Tisnley wrinkled up her petite nose, crossing her legs over as she sat on the ground. Next time she was going to get stuck in a mall she'd be sure to wear shoes that were more comfortable. I tawsn't like her to be this negative about a situation but she was finding it quite hard to find any upsides to the situation. No shops. No food. No heating or lighting. Oh yeah and there was an awkward relationship between almost everyone. This was going to be a night to remember, he could already tell.[/blockquote]

waking up at the start of the end of the world but it’s feeling just like every morning before now i wonder what my life is going to mean if its gone the cars are moving like a half a mile an hour if that _________________________________________________________________
despite how much she adored shopping and hanging around stores, this was not her idea of a good time. for the life of her she could not understand how this had all happened. things had moved so fast, one moment she was hanging out with her dear jude and one of their closest friends, evan, then the next thing they knew the laughter stopped and the lights went out. how had they missed the earlier closing time? stupid question, she was probably distracted by something cute and small, most likely pointed it out to evan and jude who had promptly made fun of her for it. then while they were falling over each other laughing the announcement saying that the mall was to close soon, there would have been an announcement correct? oh, why did she not pay attention to those kind of things? just like at school, whenever her name got called out over the pa someone had to tell her or she’d just continue on with whatever held her attention at that moment.
then things became one of those situations where your thoughts followed along the lines of ‘things couldn’t possibly get worse than this’ just before they did and you cursed yourself for jinxing the situation. how did things gets worse after she and two of her favourite guys got locked into the nyc mall? thing got worse when the three of them ended up finding themselves face to face with brett, tinsley and cadence. cadence was not so much of a problem as tinsley was. meanwhile tinsley was not as much of a problem as brett was. you see, jensen had absolutely nothing against cadence; she and tinsley were pretty good friends but jude was here with them this time and there had been a brief thing that could have happened between tinsley and jude before jensen waltzed into the scene. of course that was in the past and jensen really didn’t have much reason to be overly insecure about where she stood with jude; after all, it was pretty clear from jude’s personality that he wasn’t much of a player therefore he didn’t exactly fancy the... not-so-exclusive type aka tinsley.
brett on the other hand, was a completely different issue. yes, the very strange thing between brett and jensen was not just a problem it was a full blown issue. while it was love at first sight for jensen and jude, it was most definitely hate at first sight between jensen and the younger kite sibling. perhaps it started with jealousy because honestly, the two girls were both gorgeous and probably felt ever so slightly threatened by each other. in fact, if jensen wasn’t mistaken, she had thought that jude and brett were a couple. of course, realising how mistaken she had been was an embarrassing discovery that she did her best to keep under wraps. jensen, however, being jensen had managed to spill her guts to jude one particular intimate moment and he received a good little laugh. for the most part they had managed to avoid each other until jensen ended up dating jude and brett was less than impressed. in fact, brett had been rather keen on her friend, tinsley, getting together with her brother when the choice came down to jensen or tinsley.
hence, why this moment could not get anymore awkward. oh! she totally wanted to take that statement back. shame it was too late to take it back, she’d already released the thought and quite possibly the bad karma into the universe. looking around at the group an uncomfortable smile hiding her confusion she fidgeted with the bracelet that hung from her wrist. jude had given it to her only a few days ago and she’d worn it every day since. tinsley seemed to be saying something but jensen just wasn’t really paying attention. looking over at jude a small smile broke out over lips, how could she not? every time she saw him he looked fantastic, it was just so hard to avoid jumping into his arms and preventing either of them from breathing for the next couple of minutes. but this totally was not the time for that kind of thing. dxmn, how does he manage to look so bloody cool right now? hxll, how does he always manage to remain looking that freaking hot? thoughts strayed from one topic to another and then back again, head tilted to one side as she considered such questions and for the moment completely forgetting the strange circumstance they were literally stuck in. the words of the others discussing ways to get out somewhat flew over her head as she continued glancing over at jude; not that she really wanted to pay much attention to what brett kite had to say anyway. would it be wrong for them to sneak off and find a nice, little private corner to enjoy each other’s company in?
the loud bang that resulted from human flesh slamming into something solid woke jensen up and she very much jumped on the stop. head spun around so fast she was probably in danger of giving herself whiplash. her brain took a while to process that it had been evan who’d attempted to get them out by ramming the door. gaze flicked over the rest of the group; slowly taking in cadance’s amused, light comments and tinsley’s fit of giggles an honest smile crept over her own features. evan was just too cute when he did things like this. at least all was not lost in terms of the company she had, particularly if they were to spend the night there. urh, what a depressing thought. she had such lovely memories of days spent at the mall but this was fast making it’s way to the bottom of those memories. attention shifted around their surroundings, blissful disposition deflating with each closed and locked store she looked at. things would be so much better if those shops were actually open. turning to slip eyes over the group once more, jensen westley let out a sigh of disappointment. this was going to be one long night.
movements drew her along side jude, a hand reached out and came to a rest on his folded arms at the elbow. "what’re we to do jude?" she kept her voice down, not wanting others to join the conversation she wanted to start with him. not because she was to be an excluding bxtch but because she was unsure of herself. she wasn’t good at making decision, worse at making good decisions, hence jensen westley had come to rely on the stability of jude to help her through these kinds of situations. she’d grow up having to walk around alone looking strong while all she wanted to do was scream and ask what was going wrong, such an upbringing prepared a girl perfectly in the act of appearing like a pillar of strength, but it also taught a girl to bottle things up and hide away until she just couldn’t take it anymore. since meeting jude, she’d learnt to vent a little. learnt to be vulnerable and to seek help rather than make stupid decisions alone or to follow the 'wrong' crowd. half of those lessons she had learnt through encouragement and the aid of others, the other half she’d learnt through experience and regret. she was sick of regretting, she just wanted to be able to live knowing that she could be sure of herself whenever she decided upon something. she didn’t want to have to lean of jude forever, surely he’d get sick of her if she did. eyes darted back to the rest of the group that were stuck in the mall with them, things just did not look at all promising but at least jude was here right? for now, all she could do was wait. there was no way she'd be deciding anything just yet because she was only going to make a mistake and like she said, she was tired of making mistakes. it was too early for her and the others hadn't done much other than try what they already knew wouldn't work, ie trying to open locked doors. all this was draining her and their 'ordeal' had only just begun.

`it feels so right now, hold me tight. This day had started out sort of slow. He thought back on what happened. He had gotten up, made his way towards the bathroom, taking a shower and whatnot. He had eggs for breakfast. Called Evan and Jensen up and asked them if they wanted to carouse around the mall for a while. They ended up in the mall, and then before they knew it; they were locked in. It was actually quite humerous to find themselves in such a situation. If they got out of there in one piece - which they would, Jude was sure- then it would be one of those memories they looked back in with laughter in their voices. He could picture it now. 'Remember when we got stuck in the mall?' some laughter. 'Oh yeah, that was hilarious!' more laughter. It was wierd how Jude got so caught up in his thoughts, because Cady had startled him a bit with her sudden voice. It broke through the air, but he didn't mind her company. He had always liked Cady. She was sweet, awesome, and the life of the party. They had a lot of fun with stupid things. He looked towards her before casting his gaze back up towards the moon, his arms folded. "At least we have a great view," he flashed his brilliant smile at her, getting caught up in his thoughts again. So this is what he got for being a good boyfriend. He chuckled on the inside before a loud noise was heard, making both Cady and Jude turn their heads.
Evan, being Evan, had tried to open the door. Some people couldn't think realistically in situations that were hard to believe, and Evan was one of them. Jude just took things as they were and immediately let his mind begin to work on a logical plan. While Jude's mind was logical, Evan's was humerous. He had a permanent funny gland or something. He let Cady tend to him. It wasn't a secret to Jude that Evan was anything but over Cadence. Jude didn't blame him, though. She was an amazing girl. It sort of reminded him of Jensen. She was the reason he was still in America. Where was she, anyways? Jude's mind began to wander again and he thought of how they even missed the announcement. Jensen was in Sephora while Jude and Evan went to use the men's room. When they came out, everybody was gone and lights were off while Jensen was looking around frantically for them. Just like her to do something like that, but Jude didn't blame her. If it wasn't so funny, it would be sort of frightening. Tinsley - a girl he had known for longer than he'd known Jensen - made a comment about a killer. Jude chuckled at her. It was such a Tinsley line. He looked towards her. She was quite irritated with the situation. Another irritated party was Brett, who was probably thinking about something along the lines of death for everybody. Her and her demented mind. It had Jude laughing for more than thirty minutes at a time sometimes.
It wasn't really anybody's fault that they were stuck in here. It was sort of everybody's. If they had been paying more attention (or the speaker had been more clear) they would've known that the mall was closed early. Jude sort of always pictured the mall as something that would have like, laser protection and what not. But apparently not. Some of the stores were even unlocked. Still yet, everybody was busy being upset, angry, and somewhat frightened. Jensen came to Jude's side, touchig his arm and he was shaken from his thoughts. Reality knocked him out sometimes. He turned to Jensen, her voice low and meant for him. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed the top of her head. "It'll be alright." he assured her. The moonlight flooded what it could reach through the floor to roof windows. The door, indeed, was locked. But they could think this through. Honestly, who couldnt' survive one night away from their home? It wasn't like they were stranded in the amazong jungle with absolutely no communication or idea of where they heck they were. The only problem was that cell phones didn't work in the mall. Even if they did work, and Jude was somehow able to call somebody, who would he call? 911? Oh yeah, that would be bloody brilliant. 'Uh, yeah. I was hoping you could help us with a little situation...we've been locked in the Manhatten Mall...No, I haven't been drinking...no, i'm not on drugs.' Yes, that's exactly what he would've done. Just for kicks, really. He wondered what the people would do when they found out that six college students had spent the night there.
Was it really going to come down to that? Would they have to spend the night there? Who would find them in the morning? Would there be some sort of charge for being locked in the mall when they weren't supposed to be? Most likely. All this country really wanted was money. It's what made the world go `round, right? Jude sighed without physically taking a breath. Just in his mind. As he held Jensen, he began to wonder if they were all just overreacting or not reacting enough, maybe. Something could be wrong. Nothing was wrong, though, and Jude knew it. He wasn't the paranoid type. That act was saved for protecting Brett. They would be okay; they just had to think this out and stop being a bunch of ... teenagers. They were all grown up, they could figure this out. It was Friday, so there were no classes the next day for most of them. Jude reviewed their options. They could try and break the thick, bullet proof glass (which probably wouldn't work), panic and go insane until they couldn't do anything else, or simply find a store with camping supplies and have a little fun with this. How many times in your life do you get locked in a mall? Like, never. This was a once in a lifetime thing, and it shouldn't be ruined just because it'd never happened before. He kissed Jensen's head again and smiled. This could be fun...

brett paige kite ,and everything looks perfect from away, come down now, but we'll stay.
something that was bothering brett to death was how everybody seemed so.. calm. how the fuck could you be calm at a time like this? and some were even laughing and smiling.. ugh. these people sickened her. right now, she wanted nothing more to go home. take a shower, maybe have a drink or two or.. four. then go to sleep with that new eyemask she had bought. but nope, she had to be stuck in here instead. brett sighed, closing her eyes. on the count of ten, she would loosen up. on the count of ten, she would try to make the most out of this experience. on the count of ten, she would either kill herself or kill everybody else. but she was interrupted from her attempt at being peaceful when she heard a loud bang coming from the door. her eyes snapped open and she turned around, only to find evan limping over to a bench. she had caught a few snippets from the conversation earlier. we aren't locked in.. stand back, let a real man open the door.. obviously you guys weren't pushing hard enough.. brett burst out laughing. "so where's the real man opening the door?" she mused, looking around. she didn't say anything else, though. she figured his ego (as well as his knee) was bruised enough.
an idea came to her head. it was like a lightbulb suddenly appeared over her head. she would go shopping! of course, why didn't she think of this sooner? she was stuck in a mall, the new york city mall in fact, and what do you do in malls? shop! but her idea didn't seem too bright when she looked around in the darkness and realized that all the stores were locked up and closed, except for a few which were totally not her style. brett sighed, mumbled another 'ugh' and sat down on the nearest bench and crossing her legs, indian style. she suddenly felt so grateful she had worn jeans instead of a dress. but brett suddenly felt not so grateful she had chosen to wear four inch high heels. only brett kite. her feet were burning but she chose to ignore it, instead just thinking about tommorow and how good it would be to be home and try on those new outfits she had bought.. one thing was for sure, if she ever had to go this mall again, she would pay attention. if people were leaving and the place was getting empty, brett would run as fast as she could out the door.
tinsley started speaking, and her eyes locked up at the brunette who was looking over her shoulder in fright. i saw this in a movie once.. the killer totally killed everyone. brett snorted and bit her lip to keep back her laughter for her poor best friend, looking everywhere except for her. "i still say we should break the window or some shit, unless you guys wanna stay the night," brett tensed, a little miffed. ugh, knowing them they probably would. them with their peppy and happy ways of life. them and always turning a bad situation into a good one. them and their stupid huge egos that went along with their stupid huge heads she wanted to hit with a bat. brett reminded herself to loosen up again. but she couldn't do that when she didn't have someone to talk to. there was always cadence, but she had her hands full with a limping evan right now.
brett cocked her head and looked at her beautiful best friend. sometimes she wondered how cady could possibly be so optimistic. but cady was the girl everyone loved. she was everything brett wasn't, which was why brett was always a bit jealous of the girl. she was suddenly reminded of the whole tyson and cady ordeal. even though it had been a short lived relationship, or so she thought, she would never believe that sort of soap-opera-esque thing would happen to her, and she would never believe it if she weren't brett kite. brett was still a little hung over about it, but each day she was getting better. she was over it. both had called truce. which was why it didn't matter anymore. it was funny how evan and cadence both had feelings for eachother; the two made such an adorable couple, they should've gotten back together already. but judging from the looks of things that probably wasn't too far off.
brett glanced at jude and jensen sitting by the windows, probably staring lovingly into eachother's eyes or something and making out. how gross. it was official now. she would rot here because the mall janitors or whatever they were forgot to check everywhere to make sure the place was empty. she would rot here because she didn't have cell service to call 911 or better yet some fucking food. she would rot here and this would be the end of her short, miserable life. brett rolled her eyes and fell onto her back, closing her eyes and tuning everything else out. death by mall.. kind of tragic, wasn't it?

EVAN ANTHONY CHAMBERS -------------------------------------------------------------- Evan sat on the bench, trying to loosen up. He knew that everyone was just going to start thinking that since Evan was such a goof off that he could easily entertain everyone. Although, I am sure everyone was quite entertained by that little show he just put on. It'll probably be something they will laugh at him about for the rest of his life, yeah they will never let Evan live this down. He wasn't, however, upset at all about getting attention from Cady. What guy would be though? "Yeah, I think I did..." Evan replied staring down at it, then looking up at Cady with a cute puppy dog face and in a little kid voice commented, "Kiss it and make it better?" He finished it off with a little lip quiver, then busted into a laugh. But, of course, then leave it to Brett to say something completely sarcastic, he stopped laughing and looked at her with a serious look on his face, "Giiiirl. Puh-lease, like chu could do it any better, no I didn't tink soo," Evan humored her in his gay voice, "talk to the hand cause the face don't wanna hear it, girl!" Evan turned away from her putting his hand up. Everyone was probably thinking, 'Ahh now there's the Evan we all know and love!' He was a kid at heart, at least that is what people would say about him. Well, that and he was a big show-off whenever Cady was around. Cady had to bring out her optimistic personality. It was just one more thing that Evan loved about her, not that he was exactly a pessimist but he was like Cady. Tinsley commented back before Evan could say anything, he was sure he could think of something to make everyone have a good laugh. It was his nature. Evan sighed, he hated the mall actually. No guys really liked it though, it was just unusual unless they were gay. He was surprised that Brett wasn't trying to break into the stores she would shop at and just try on clothes. Evan glanced around at everyone, he didn't have a problem with anyone so it could be worse, right?
Evan thought for a moment, what could he do to lighten everyone's mood? Evan began to let himself listen to the conversation, "I know I prank a lot, but I swear I'm not in on this one it's all Ashton, Tinsley I swear... He told me so," Evan commented with a contridiction of him and Ashton playing a prank on them. No one was exactly happy about being here. He sat back on the bench, placing his hand on the arm rest to his left. Tinsley was full of comments, wasn't she? "That's the coolest story I have ever heard in my life! Can you tell it again? Do you have time?" Evan tried to act excited, just trying to lighten the mood. He hoped he hadn't made Tinsley mad, he wasn't trying to make fun of her. Evan glanced around the stores, nothing was really opened. Abercrombie & Fitch was closed. Sephora was closed. A jewelry store has a metal gate around it, there was nothing. Evan had to be resourceful. He turned his body, spotting a costume store close by. What could he do with that? He sat back on the bench, he looked at Cady, "How are we going to make this fun, seriously?" He commented in a questioning voice. She probably wasn't exactly sure either how they could make this fun and worth while. He moved his head foward as he heard Jude start to speak, then it dawned on him. He smiled deviously, jumping up off the bench, his knee hurt a little still though. "I will be right back," Evan announced to everyone before walking away.
Evan walked towards the costume store, he hoped that they had what he was looking for. He knew exactly what he wanted. It would hopefully make the others at least giggle. He knew Jude would get some kind of kick out of it though. He walked in, it was completely open. He needed some light, he thought for a moment then pulling his phone out of his pocket he lit some of the room so he could at least see where he was going. He quietly walked over to the men's section. He began rumaging through the costumes, smiling deviously again at the one he was hoping they'd have. Then, he head over to the small space they had set-up for wigs. He pushed some around, finally picking one up and laughing. Then he quickly covered his mouth, he figured he would just put this stuff on over his clothes. He pulled on the pants quickly, sticking on the shirt and jacket. Then carefully placing the wig on his head, finishing the whole look up with a hat, rings, sunglasses and necklace. He glanced at himself in the mirror, quite satisfied with his new look. He stuck his phone back in his jeans pockets under his costume's pants. He quickly walked out of the store, then began to walk all pimp-ish and trying to be cool. "Hold everything!" He yelled to the others then he stopped, pulling down his sunglasses and screaming, "DAAANG!" he ran over to Cady and put his arm around her, "Hey baby I'm Heath Farron and I would like to say, Babe I'm not Fred Flinstone but I could make that bed rock!" He did some eyebrow movements and stared at her up and down. He let go of her and walked in the middle of the circle the had formed. He spun around slowly staring at all the girls, "Apart from being sexy, what do all you lovely ladies do for a living, come on don't be bashful!" He walked over with a cool bad boy-ish attitude and sat down on the bench, looking over at Jenson he commented, "You know, I'm not really this tall I'm just sitting on my wallet because you know I-AM-LOOOADED." He gave a light laugh, then seeing Brett he got up and ran up to her, licking his lips a little, "Sex is a killer, wanna die happy?" Then he glanced over at Tinsley and stared her down walking over to her next, "That shirt it very becoming on you, but if I was on you, I'd "be coming" too." He smiled with a evil smirk. Then he nodded his head, trying to act all shy and all, he walked over to Cady again, "Excuse me miss, my friend over there," He stopped and pointed at Jude, "He's a little shy and embarassed, he'd really like to get your number... He wants to know how to get hold of me in the morning." Evan joked the last line with a suggestive tone. He stopped his act, maybe that'll lighten everyone's mood.

` off the tampa bay bridge , It wasn't that Cady was laughing at Evan. Well, maybe just a little. But she was seirously laughing with him. How he pulled off everything he did, she would never know. "Yeah, well. Now we know where your doctor's career is going." she smiled. He did his gay voice towards Brett and Cady couldn't control the laughter spilling from her mouth.Tinsley made some comment about some horrific fantasty about everybody being killed. Cady just chuckled at her, looking in her best friend's direction. Tin wasn't the brightest crayon in the box, and her actions with the guys weren't the smartest decisions either. Still, she was one of Cady's best friends and they got along fine. "Chill, Bloody Mary. Those who think positive, gain positive. Right, Evan?" she turned back towards him but he was gone. Way to totally not support her. She folded her arms and looked around at the group that was with her.
You had Brett, who was either plotting world domination or some sort of muderous plan for all of them. Then there was Jensen, off in a corner being comforted by Jude. There was Tinsley, who was her usual pessimistic and mellowdramatic self. And of course, Evan, who had mysteriously disappeared from right under her nose. He had a way of doing things like that. She leaned back in the seat, running her hand through the curly blonde hair she had only swiped through with a brush today. Looking around at their situation wasn't all that enouraging. But still, it wasn't that bad. Sure, they were stuck in a mall with no way out. Sure, some of them didnt' like each other. But hey; it could be fun, right? The question was how it could possibly get any more hilarious than this. Then Evan came out as if he wanted to be the answer to that question. He emmerged from a costume store dressed as a pimp. Was tha stealing? Nah, he was just borrowing.
He stood in the center of the circle they all had formed, and made his first pick-up line for her. She giggled as he moved on to all the other girls. Cady burst out laughing and couldn't stop. He went around, his pretend bad-boy attitude captivating her. Once he was finished and had Cady laughing her ass of, he sat down next to her once again with one more pick up line, a suggestive tone in his voice that had her reeling with even more laughter than before. She stopped to stare at him, the costume made of cheap material. She grabbed the hat from his head and placed it on her own. If anybody could make her laugh like this, it was Evan Anthony Chambers.
She remembered back to all those times where they went on 'Evan Dates' instead of real ones. The kind where you sat around for hours and talked about nothing but good times. She wondered what it would be like, back in his arms again. Too bad she wasn't paying attention to her heart. The stubborn side of her mind had gotten away with it, and now all she could see him as was a friend trying to lighten up the mood. He did, too, and she was greatful for it. How could she just give up a great guy like Evan? She wasn't ready for something like this... she had to accept her heart before she accepted him, and she couldn't just quite yet. She could be friends with him, however, until then. "Well, Mr. Farro." she smiled, pecking his lips with her own quickly. These types of things weren't really 'friendly' unless your name was Cadence Reagan Matthews. "I'd say you're quite irristable." she joked with him, smiling.
Unless your name was Cadence Reagan Matthews, then you wouldn't understand why she made it a point to be friends with Evan. She went by how she felt, not by how things should be. A sort of following your heart type of gig. Still, sometimes the thoughts she had clouded that judgement of heart, and until she learned to trust her heart; the relationship with Evan wasn't taking a trip anywhere but down friendship lane. ` real like a super star i feel it in my soul [Click for Clothes] Tinsley wrinkled up her nose as her so called friends brushed off her theory that they were all about to be executed by some physcho. Okay, not even she believed it anymore, but she didn't see anyone else coming up with anything and atleast it was keeping her occupied. Holding back a gggle as she took in the looks she recieved from bot hCadence and Brett, she couldn't help but feel a little happier. Atleast she'd lightened the mood a teensy bit in her moment of despair. "I am thinking positively Cady" Tinsley groaned, raising a finger up to head to show Cady just what part she was thinking with. Yes, it was her head for one. "Nothings happening so obviously your idea of thinking the doors open is just as stupid as my idea of fricken Freddy or Jason coming and getting us" Tins continued to groan, meaning no harm against her bestfriend. The thing about Tinsley was, she always had to feel in control. It didn't have to be over otehrs, we all knew Brett took that spot, but she had to have control of atleast her own life. Getting stuck in a mall with the romantic couple, gooft pair that are so in love and you're borderline phsycotic bestfriend was not her idea of control. It was a disaster. A horrible, horrible disaster that she did not deserve to be in.
Uncrossing and crossing her legs back over again, Tinsley watched the group around her. Chances were by the end of the evening Evan will have declared his love for Cady, Jensen would become engaged to Jude or something and Brett would have killed everyone defeating the purpose if the otehrs forming any kind of relationship. The odd thing was, at this time, Brett was the person Tinsley was finding the most tolerable. Maybe because she was used to the way Brett reacted in situations or jst because the idea of so much love being in the air was making Tinsley want to be sick. She needed to think of a plan, and now. Shame Tinsley wasn't exact;y the brightest in the room. If only she could sleep her way out, then they'd all be safe.
Opening her handbag, she tried what it seemed noone else had and she quite proud of herself for thinking it. Her cell phone, she'd be dead without it. Flipping the communication devide open, she let out another sigh as she found she had no reception. Good thing she hadn't shared her plan with the rest of the group or else she'd look even more stupid right now. If she didn't die from starvation, am axe wielding maniac or Brett's four inch heels, she was going to die of boredom. Tinsley Carmichael had the shortest attention span ever and when she wasn't occupied she'd pretty much be willing to do anything to keep up the entertainment.
Almost on cue, Evan Chambers decided he'd make a mockery of a very well known Heath Farron. Tinsley's palm moved straight to her face as she she tried to cover it whilst falling into another fit of giggles. Usually she'd probably look at the boy like some freak but she really did appreaciate what he was doing by making a fool of himself and Heath to entertain everyone else. He really would be good for Cady. Glancing over at Brett, Tinsley controlled herself and waited for the explosion. Would Brett go crazy? Chances were she would and that was all they needed. It was no secret Brett had something going on wit hHeath and whiel Tinsley found him completely annoying and irritating, there had to be something there that Brett saw. Either the girl was about to defend him and put a damper on the mood yet still entertain Tinsley or she would laugh along at the incredibley well played out joke. Not even Tinsley really belived that was exactly what Heath was like but the exageration was pretty spot on. She couldn't wait till Heath found out.
Laughing eyes travelled from Evan to the coupling of Jensen and Jude. They were both good people in Tinsley's eyes but even she was finding it slightly sickening to watch them. It wasn't that they were doing anything in particular, they weren't really but Tinsley had never been fond of the whole couples thing. She just prayed her for sake and Brett's they didn't start callign each other pet names or anything. It was secret tha tTinsley had once liked Jude but as many of these happened, she soon got over the boy. Him and Jensen were perfect for each other anyway and no matter how good looking or nice he was, Tinsley now saw Jude as slightly tame. That was Tinsley for you, the girl needed things to be wild and out of control.
Diverting her attention back to Brett, Tinsley shot her a smile, hoping she wouldn't blow a fuse of the Heath immitations that were taking place. Tinsley needed something to take Brett's mind off it before she went crazy and put her shoe through Evans face. What did Brett love talking about more than anything? Tinsley was pretty sure it was the relationship Jensen had with her brother so it seemed a safe bet. Not that she really wanted to start a bitch session about the two, especially when they were in the room, but she really couldn't put up with a moody Bretty. Well, more moody than usual. "If they start making out or whatever, I'm going to be sick" Tinsley giggled lightly next to Brett. Actually, that was true. insley didn't belive in public displays of affection unless ofcourse they were at aparty or in a club. The idea that Jude and Jensen would take things any futher actaully gave her shivers and ocne again her overactive imagination got to work. No, not like that, she didn't have her head in the gutter. "Ewwe imagine being convieved in a mall?" Tinsley wrinkled her nose up at the thought, "That'd be so messed up". She loved the mall more than anything else but even she couldn't imagine telling her friends she'd been conceived in the New York City Mall. Shaking her head to rid herself of the thoughts, she looked over at Brett once more regetting bringing up the happy couple at once. Chances were speaking about Jensen would make Brett angrier, Tinsley just hadn't thought anout that. And here she was thinking she was doing something nice when she'd probably just made the situation worse.
Desperately trying to find another distraction Tinsley decided to agree with Brett's idea. "Maybe we should break a window. Security will come if we do anyway", Tinsley agreed, nodding her head. Did she really feel like getting in trouble for smashing windows though? And ofcourse there was the stolen Pimp costume they'd have to account for. Evans everyday wear? Maybe they'd believe it but it was walking a thin line. "Or we can go get costumes too? Or find open stores?" Tinsley suggested finally trying to make light of the situation. This was definitely an experience, they may aswell make the most of it.[/blockquote]

i started staring at the passengers waving goodbye can you tell me what was ever really special about me all this time but i believe the world is burning to the ground oh well i guess we're gonna find out _________________________________________________________________
her body folded into his as she allowed him to wrap his arms around her. a slow release of air was given as she relaxed. she felt safe there, protected there. it was like nothing could hurt her there. ear pressed up against his chest, the sound of his heart and the rise and fall of his breathing taking her away. all those years ago, she used to do this every now and then with brandon. if she couldn’t sleep she’d slip away into his room and fall asleep like that, the only lullaby she needed was brandon’s heartbeat. it had been years since the last time she’d done that. once brandon had gotten into high school it just wasn’t cool for his little sister to share his bed and she had to respect that. jude said something and she heard his voice from where her ear was pressed up against him. his voice sounded deeper than it was, his accent clearer and it echoed throughout her, sending a pleasant chill down her back. eyes closed for a moment, enjoying his embrace. almost being selfish enough to want it to last forever. well, she did suppose they had the night... head lifted and looked up at jude, he seemed deep in thought and she didn’t want to distract him so she stayed quiet. though she wasn’t sure if she should move away or stay where she was. if she moved she might break his train of thought, jensen didn’t want to do that. he looked so attractive when he disappeared into his thoughts the way he did.
from where she was, jensen westley watched the rest of the group as best she could. there was something about the way brett carried herself that told jensen the other very important female in jude’s life was ready to go on a kill rampage. though, any of them could have guessed that without needing to see brett’s stand-offish body language. a comment about evan’s lack of masculinity was made but, in a very un-brett-like manner, the brunette said no more. eyes followed brett as she moved to sit on a bench, this was the only available source of entertainment at the moment. all she could do was observe and wait. patience was not one of jensen’s strong suits but jude was a serene influence on her for the time being. her restricted hearing didn’t allow jensen the ability to hear what was going on very well and for a moment she could almost swear brett had suggested they break something. jensen stiffened just a little, her mind immediately racing ahead and thinking brett wanted to hurt someone; because the other girl probably did. it was an impulse that faded soon enough, such an idea was silly to continue with. brett wouldn’t honestly do anything.
lids closed over eyes once again as jensen felt like fading into a doze. it had been a long day and the dark of the mall made her feel fatigued. if it weren’t for the combination of jude’s warmth, the lack of light and the silence that lingered other than when someone spoke jensen would probably be having a minor freak out. in fact, everything within her was freaking out and all over the place. the only sign of this was her slightly laboured breathing, as if she were an asthmatic trying to take control of their breathing after running that extra few meters they just shouldn’t have done. evan’s voice floated over her, none of the words that could be picked up registering within her brain. that was, of course, until the raised voice of evan jolted her back. eyes flew open and she stared at the material of jude’s top for a moment. she could swear she had jumped again but hoped not, gaze flicked up to jude. hoping she hadn’t interrupted him. then attention moved to evan, the cause of yet another surprise for her than evening. but evan was totally himself while they were stuck in the mall and had managed to find light in their situation. all dressed up he strut his stuff, taking the shxt out of the well-known, waverly university player heath farron. jensen wondered how brett would take this and glanced over at the other female but was unable to read anything from such a distance. a slight giggle started within jensen as she watched evan go around trying a pick-up line on each female in the area.
carrying herself a little more, jensen pulled out of jude’s arms. not that she wanted to but she didn’t want him to feel restricted by her. she knew how close he was with evan and jude would probably want to do something soon. whether it was fool around with his mate or organize something for the group she could not say, all she knew was that jude had probably worked something out for everyone and their currently compromising circumstance. the sound of cadence’s laugh caused jensen to loosen up even more. there was something in that laugh, all sweet and fun like that drew you in. cadence was an amazing girl, no one could ever deny that. jen’s eyes sparkled a little, perhaps things wouldn’t be so bad after all. look at the positive’s miss westley, she was with a great bunch of people and quite a few laughs had been shared already. who was to say they wouldn’t continue for the durance of their stay? on that thought she looked back over at jude and smiled a proper smile. "yeah, you’re probably right. everything will be ok." there was still that small part of her that seemed to be inbuilt to doubt herself ever so and it showed in her voice. she hoped that jude wouldn’t realize but that might be asking a bit too much from a guy that always seemed to care.
tinsley’s high, bubble-filled voice (jensen just couldn’t think of any other word that was appropriate to describe the giggle-like voice of the girl) drifted through the silence but jensen barely paid any attention to it. she did manage however, to pick up something that seemed to be about her and jude. head turned to look at tinsley who was standing up, surprise surprise, brett. well, one couldn’t stop people from talking so why bother trying? the last thing on her mind however, was falling pregnant – just for anyone that cared to know. yeah, of course accidents happened and jensen was often stuck with the ‘leftover luck’ but jude wasn’t. she could always count on jude. allowing out another hushed sigh, jensen’s eyes moved over the shops that they had available to them. she hadn’t eaten anything since lunch and was feeling a little hungry. perhaps, as a group, they could find some food? then again... that could be a bad idea. she may as well just sit on it and keep waiting. see how the others wanted to play things out. some people were born leaders, others were the type to fight for control and some were followers. jensen? she wasn’t any of those. she was the fence-sitter who swung her legs back and forth, waiting for something to happen in front of her and only registering that it had occurred after it had all played out. then she’d hope off her fence and go skipping off in another direction before realizing that there was something she was meant to when that thing had been playing out before her... if that was a decent analogy to describe the brainless ways of jensen.

`tell me i'm the only one tonight, tonight. Jude Gregory Kite was calm, collected, and often described as an easy-going guy. When you got him with Evan Anthony Chambers, however, things changed around a little. Put a twist on a compelling life story kind of thing. Still, Ev was over there and Jude was here; comforting Jensen. Was it really any surprise that he chose this over his friends so many times? She folded into his arms, like she was the missing piece to his life's puzzle. She was quite a bit shorter than he was, just tall enough to barely reach his chin, but that's the way it was supposed to be. People didn't really look a the tiny details such as this. They chose to look at things like personality difference. What if all beings thought alike? Acted alike? Had no personality differences at all? Would there even be any kind of relationship? Jude doubted it heavily in his mind and was thankful that at least he saw the miniscule facts that pieced him and Jensen together so nicely. How was it even possible that people saw right through what made them so perfect for each other? Anything is possible. Another point to the 'madness' of Jude and Jensen's relationship. The most famous remark out of anybody's mouth would be 'But you're so collected..she's Jensen', and while this may be so it never had stopped Jude before. He was a topper, so what? There weren't many people like him around places like this. All you saw was rushing, business, and the greedy eye for money. That's all it ever was, right? To Jude, it was so much more. Especially with Jensen in his life now. It put a whole new spin on a timless tale of survival. A twist that he loved dearly; with all his heart.
There was such a method to his madness that Jude could hardly stand to watch people stand by and scoff at their perfection. He did, however, have the satisfaction that he had her. They didn't. They never would, as far as this Kite was concerned. It was a bit more difficult to tell some of them, however. Apparently his 'charming aura' had half the female population at Waverly chasing after him. Still yet, he had Jensen to wave around. Yes, he was proud of her. No, she wasn't just an accesory like so many men thought of their 'girlfriends' as. She was a prized jewel that he had sewn to his heart at all times. The apple of his eye. His heart's one true desire. Whatever other loving phrase you wanted to call it, Jensen was his definition. It felt like the first snow to him...precious, unreal, beautiful. Jude's fantasies came to an abrupt halt when Evan interrupted him with his insane antics. Jude was elated to find that his fantasies were in his arms, a reality unspoken. Though this realization was both a relief and grateful moment for him, Evan continued on to act as Heath Farro. A dirty mongrol that Jude himself despised. Leave it up to Evan to save them from some of the tension. It seemed to clear up as he made his rounds, each female with their own pick-up line. He made an extra one just for Cady and he watched as she pecked him on the lips. Oh man, if she only knew. That would leave Evan's head spinning for the next week.
Jensen had slipped out of Jude's arms, but she stood near to him. That comforted his worries. Cadence giggled. The sound was golden; the bubbling laughter of a child at play. It seemed to relieve even more of the tense atmosphere. If Jude didn't know any better, he'd say that the air was suddenly easier to breath. Brett -of course- had persuaded Tinsley to join the dark side. Also known as 'taking the easy way out', which would be throwing something at the window that wouldn't break. It was bullet proof. They think a heel would crack that? Jude shook his head disapprovingly to himself. Nobody had a clear mind anymore. Something as small as this shouldn't have had everybody shaking so violently in their damn boots. "We're not throwing anything at the window." Jude said, making his way over to his sister, taking up the space left next to her on the bench. "And I heard that." he shot at Tinsley, a look that plainly read 'i'm watching you', his eyebrows raised and eyes slightly widened. He broke into a smile, charming and light. "Besides. The windows are bullet proof. I heavily doubt that a shoe would break it." he leaned back on the bench for a minute, his hands on his long, jean-clad legs. What were they thinking? It was so insanely pathetic that they were even in this dilemmatic situation.
Stuck in a mall? Well, for crying out loud! They were all smarter than this. They went to a high-class, elite New York University and they couldn't even get out of a store without being locked in! How thick-witted was everybody? Apparently so doltish as to get stuck in a mall. They all knew in the back of their heads that they were stupid for this. Absolutely blockheaded, dim, blanketed fools. It would have irritated Jude, but again; it was just too funny. Honestly, how many times did you get stuck in a mall with your best friends, sister, and girlfriend? How about...never? Jude chuckled at this all, and the irritating thoughts soon left him, replaced with an amused feeling that soothed his mind. It was a breath of fresh air for all this tension.
He observed the situation once more before deciding that they'd be alright. So they were stuck in a mall. Who was to say it was a bad thing? He went back to the default thought he'd had earlier. Some day they'd all look back on this and laugh their arses off about it, and it would be bloody brilliant. That's all there was to it. He lifted himself off the bench effortlessly, with ease and precision before heading towards Evan and Cady. Before he moved towards them, however, he held two fingers up to his eyes, and swiveled them back and forth between Tinsley and his eyes a few times, eyebrows raised in mock seriousness. "Watching you." he mumbled, nodding before walking on. He smoothly made he way over toward the bench Evan and Cady were on. "Good job." he nodded smacking Evan's head playfully as he walked by. His real destination was Jensen. Everything would be alright, he knew it. Jude reassured himself of this theory once more before moving back towards Jensen, hugging her from behind softly, his arms wrapped around her waist. He didn't like to be clingy, nor did he like to invade personal space that was sometimes needed; but Jude had a feeling Jensen needed all the comfort she could get right now. Thankfully, it seemed as if the laughter in the situation had calmed her fretful mind, the scrambled thoughts probably becoming a little clearer. Jude took another mental note to thank Evan for that again. Tinsley and Brett's bungling skills had only made matters worse, and Jude made a mental note to thank them for that. Maybe gather up Evan and play a prank on them...
For now, Jensen needed him, and he most definately needed Jensen. His blithe mood only increased with every deep breath she took, and every happy crease in her features. Her honey hued tresses smelled like her kiss tasted; strawberries. This all gave Jude time to calm himself down. Though he may have seemed collected inside and out, part of his mind scrambled frantically for a way out of this situation. There had always been that pathetic part of him that paniced for just those few seconds. It was inept, however, to his outside appearance. Jude was calm, collected, and every other part of his mind was working optimistically. The piece of his mind bothered him; the one that annoyed and irritated each optimistic thought with an event that may or may not go wrong. The possibilities that it explored were irrational, and it clouded his mind, forbidding him to think straight. He was lost in a whirlwind of exploration; what would happen if he did this? Why was this so? How come nothing was right? Why wasn't he letting his emotions take control of him? This so often happened when things went haywire for him. When he was suddenly rash with his actions, violent and unstable. That part of his mind was what caused him to become so vicious with inner conflict; the part that clouded his thoughts and let his incenced being loose from it's well-chained cage. That part, however, was gone. He had learned to let it disappear completely with a calming presence or memory, fading out with the first sign of even showing up. Thus, episodes of anger or depression rarely happened for Jude. Very rarely in fact. He could think of only two of his friends who had seen him in that state; one being his sister, Brett. This time, the clouding piece of mind had faded even quicker with every beat of Jen's heart, and suddenly he didn't care if they were stranded in the Amazon. "I love you." he whispered for her ears only, breathing into the honey - colored hair softly, kissing it once before swaying gently back and forth. As long as she was there with him, and he was there with her; everything was going to be alright.

brett paige kite ,thoughts read unspoken forever and now the pieces of memories fall to the ground
brett wasn't really paying attention to the things happening around her. there could've been a killer right behind her or something, at the moment she didn't really care. everyone had gone strangely quiet, and it was more then satisfactory for brett. but sleeping or getting rest of any sort was not really possible right now. whenever she closed her eyes, she saw either tyson, heath, or one of those creepy killers you saw on horror movies. brett's eyes snapped open, and she sighed again, sitting up and digging through her bag for her cellphone. sure, she couldn't call anybody, but surely her internet was still working, right? she finally found her blackberry through the mess, and up popped up an IM from heath farro himself. ugh, the kid was everywhere. brett shook her head, but suddenly heard a small voice beside her and she turned her head. if they start making out or whatever, i'm going to be sick.. brett shook her head and bit her lip to keep back the laughter. it was like tinsley was reading her mind or something. "and i have to deal with that everyday, ugh.." it wasn't exactly the most hushed whisper, so chances were, one or two people heard. suddenly, she felt a presence behind her, and brett turned her head only to find jude kite himself. curious why he was here instead of with jensen, an eyebrow was quirked his way. they hardly ever went their separate ways.
brett shook her head disapprovingly at her brother when he spoke. besides. the windows are bullet proof. i heavily doubt that a shoe would break it. oh please. "a bullet proof window against brett kite? i guess you don't know me at all, dear brother," brett scoffed, turning her attention back to her phone. it wasn't long before there was another interruption. oh, these people were just on a roll today, weren't they? brett rolled her eyes, typing against the keyboard on her phone. then there was laughter all around her, and brett looked up in effort to find out what was actually going on. jude had returned back to jensen, evan was gone and.. it took her a while to actually figure out, until she heard an extremely familiar voice and looked at cadence. there was evan, actually, wearing.... a pimp suit? ew. where'd he get that, anyway?
brett's nose scrunched up, until she heard his voice. hey baby i'm heath farron and i would like to say, babe i'm not fred flinstone but i could make that bed rock! ha ha. wait. who? heath farron? brett's breath caught, her mouth falling open as her phone dropped from her hands and onto the floor. she could feel the heat creeping up her face. ugh. here was wannabe-heath now, who not to soon came sauntering up to her using a cheesy pickup line that almost made brett gag. this was so embarrassing. she was pretty sure everyone here knew everything about brett and.. sex is a killer, wanna die happy? brett shook her head, slipping off her heel and holding it in her hand as a weapon. "how about wanna die a slow and painful death when i shove my heel up your ass?" brett shouted, the daggers shooting from her eyes. and when she thought about how she had probably received another IM from heath himself on her phone, it made her feel more sad then she had ever been in a while. she missed him. but for now she was stuck in a mall with blondie over there, her brother, dumb and dumber and a guy in a pimp costume. life just couldn't get any better.

EVAN ANTHONY CHAMBERS -------------------------------------------------------------- Evan gave an 'Aren't I Just The Cutest Thing?' smile to Cady as she began to speak. But when she leaned in, Evan wasn't sure what to do. His mind started going a mile a minute, but just to find it was a small peck on the lips. Evan's head was just as light as a feather, his heart was beating loudly, 'I wonder if she can hear that...' Evan thought nervously to himself. Although it was something Evan would be thinking about for days, it saddened him knowing that Cady only did that in a friendly way. That was the first time she had ever done that, even when they were dating. Cady didn't peck your lips unless she considered you a close friend. And that's all Evan was now. A close friend. Otherwise known as, the 'You lost your chance' friend. The 'You're an effing moron' friend. The 'how could you have let me go?' friend. All of the above really. Evan sighed, but forced a smile onto his face. Maybe he needed to stick himself out there a little. He loved Cady more than she could imagine. Of course there were his crushes, but those were just crushes. They weren't like Cady. They could be if Evan wanted them to be though. If only Cady was as sad as Brett or Jenson... Evan could be there for her. He wished she'd do something so Evan could just grab onto her, maybe if he played around with her like he was still Heath... No that wouldn't work. Evan stared into her eyes for a moment, then turned away, looking at everyone else. It happened, now it's over.
Evan was actually shocked at Brett's response. He wasn't a mean guy, he just didn't really think. He looked at her confused. What? Evan closed his eyes and nodded, "Sorry Brett. Don't know if I hurt your feelings or if you're just frustrated about being in here, but sorry," Evan didn't want to fight with his best friend's little sister. That was the last thing on his mind. Evan turned to the bench and threw everything from the costume off. He felt better about talking to Cady as Evan Anthony Chambers then talking to her as Heath Farron. He looked over at Cady, who he was standing near. He bit his lip, he wanted to do something to make sure she knew that he still felt something. I guess that's where his secret admirer act came in though. He got a bit closer to her, as Jude also walked over a little closer commenting on Evan's Heath act. Evan sat down next to Cady before replying, "Thanks Jude, I try," Evan kidded trying to be humble.
Evan quietly put his arm on the bench around Cady, hoping things wouldn't be awkward now. Evan was pretty sure that just about everyone here, with the exception of Cady, knew that Evan was completely in love with her still. Evan couldn't even remember what happened that made them break up, but if he could do that day over he would have done something to stop it now that he knows he will never get over it. He took a deep breath. He wanted to look at Cady and tell her how he was her secret admirer, how he was lonely boy and it was "lonely boy" because he missed her so much, how he did that embarassing Heath act just to make her laugh. But how do you tell someone who doesn't want to be with you all that?
Evan took a moment to take all of it in. Evan might have been a big goof off. The joker, the comedian, class clown. Whatever you wanted to call him but he was still a sweet and sensitive guy. Alright, so he wasn't always the most romantic guy to every girl, but he was sweet to all of them. Evan needed the inspiration from his feelings, but he didn't understand why Cady didn't want him anymore. He was almost very sensitive about it right now. So emotional come to think of it, that if he was alone he would tear up right now. He stared at Jude and Jenson, he gave a weak smile at Jude, he remembered when everyone would look at he and Cady like they were the world's pefect couple like everyone looks at Jude and Jenson now. Evan hoped to god that Jude never had to feel what Evan feels. It's always the nice guys that finish last. Evan had so many questions for Cady, but only one crossed his mind everyday.. Why?
