dragging around his poor little soul;
grip me by the collar,
the one who was invincible;
the one who shouldn't have called her*
Alex nodded when she questioned him of his band. With her sexy little smile, he leaned on the table and smiled. He loved this part, but also hated it. Bragging about being in a band, but dreading it because he didn't want to sound extremely cocky or whatever. Yeah. It was pretty small, we weren't too big in that little town. It was sort of a, well, He said, tossing his head. Hard rock. He said, looking her in the eyes. He didn't think she would like it in the least; his kind of music. But what the hell, she'd liked him this much. And besides, once they got a record deal, they'd be big. He knew it; even on Myspace they were big.
She looked like she was liking this; maybe she thought it was sexy or something. He knew a lot of chicks that did; once they knew he was in a band. Was, though. Everyone in the group had sort of taken a sweet little break for college. But Alex was content, now Keatie looked totally into him.
Alex had kissed her. And his mind was racing now. She leaned over the table like she had to whisper into his ear. But she didn't look to be aiming there. She claimed his lips. Alex about zapped out of his seat. She was so hot, and kissed so well. Alex looked at her, a bit baffled; but in a positive way. She decided to blow this place, and go to his apartment? Alex looked at her, a little stunned. His place was a mess. And, probably way to small and poster-covered for her taste. In truth, he was embarrassed. He was about to protest, when she mentioned her roommate. He stood up as well, listening to her.
He began to imagine her; cover girl twin, probably brunette because Keatie was already bond. Hottt. But no, she would probably gossip about him; and tease Keatie. Well... whatever. Let's go. He said, smiling softly. His eyes seemed to sparkle and flash as he reached her her hand, looking to her face to see how she'd react. But he suddenly didn't care; because she wanted to come over anyway. He led her out into the street, it being a little darker out than it was before. probably 9ish, by now. He thought as he looked about. He thought about walking, but decided against it because Keatie was too gorgeous to walk out in those heels. So he called for a taxi, getting one and slipping inside next to Keatie. His converse scuffed against the floor as he got in, smiling comfortingly at Kate.
